We have ordered from Haveli for years and recently, the food quality has dramatically dropped while the prices went sky high. Save your time and money and order from somewhere else. Butter chicken didn’t even have chicken in it - it had chunks of soya chomp. For a $23 dish, that’s ridiculous. Also, biryani is inedible and ingredients were cracking my teeth. Absolutely disgusting food. Even their naan tastes like the ones you buy and microwave at home. 0 stars from an extremely disappointed customer.

We went to Haveli Da Dhaba, which clearly states it closes at 4:00 PM. We arrived at 3:20 PM—well before closing time—but were told they were already closed. This is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. We drove 50 minutes to reach there, only to be turned away without any proper explanation.
This kind of behavior wastes people’s time and shows a lack of basic courtesy. Unfortunately, I’ve seen this kind of poor management at too many Indian restaurants. Haveli Da Dhaba needs to seriously improve its reliability and customer service if it wants to keep customers coming back.

Superb service..! The food the service is totally authentic punjabi food. Weather it's butter chicken, their crispy lacha pranthas or chole bhature ..just wow.. special thanks to panday ji the head chef and owner anu and arvi.. thery are so warm and welcoming..!!

Best food in around Edison and Jersey City area, no one can beat them in taste. Food takes a little time, but every second of wait is worth.

Vegetarian options: Soya chaap, Paneer butter masala and Amritsari kulcha are great options.

A great place to enjoy Punjabi Food, culture, and music!! The appetizers we ordered were too good; we goot papdi chaat and tandoori chicken! Both came out to be great!! Also tried their paneer butter masala and bhindi! Paneer was great but bhindi do pyaza was decent!! Great service and if you lovi punjabi music; they have got an awesome vibe going on!!
