Stopping by Wegmans during the Holiday is always a must. I find the special treat to add to my table while entertaining family and friends. I always make sure to park near the liquor store...just in case I need something to compliment the meats fish or cheeses I pick up. It’s the only place I can find clotted cream for my scones!

Walking into this SUPER Supermarket you will find all of the standard departments. What Wegmans did was make the departments on steroids. Yes they have a fish section that looks like you were at a genuine fish monger. The salad and food bar is at least 5 times bigger than I had ever seen. They have a soup section that offers 12 different types. I could go on and on - my advice to you - when you have an hour or two to explore go to Wegmans and bring your appetite.

There is a full service bakery with a multitude of baked goods. There are delicious ready made cakes, cookies, pies, breads as well as items that can be special ordered (i.e. special occasion cakes with writing). If you're unsure about an item, you can ask a bakery employee for a sample. Prices are average and specialty items are pricier.

My friends and I decided to get ready to eat food at Wegmans and stay at the hotel after 3 hours of walking at the gardens. We were do pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food served at the market. We got shrimp, kale salad, tofu, beets, fried plantain and asian chicken. Every dish was freshly prepared and so yummy. The cheesecake topped with fresh fruits was light and the crust so delish! They have everything and all sooo good!
