I grew up in nearby Rivervale. Discovered Casa Del Sole around 1977 while in high school. Quickly became my “go-to” for lunch when I worked at the Great American Party Store in Hillsdale :) Although I moved away from NJ in the mid-1980’s, Casa Del Sole has steadfastly remained, in my heart, THE best Italian deli anywhere. The best Italian deli in the area. The smell of Italian delights hits you when you enter the place. Their fresh Mozzarella is great. My fave sandwich prosciutto, fresh mozz and sundried tomatoes is calling me as I write this.
Love this place! There prepared food is amazing as is there deli! Also great bread and pastas. Staff is great and super helpful. Everything is fresh and delicious. Btw. Best italian combo around!
