“The bread, pastries, sandwiches and even chocolates were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and is very much home / artisanal made. They were willing to provide suggestions and explain everything very well. Also, the service by the owner was super warm and nice. 10/10!

“This is really about the one girl that makes my macchiato!!! (Long brown hair).. she said to Alex one day "that's how you make a macchiato"... & She was right! She always makes mine the best !!! If I could ask for her to make it every time, I would (but don't know her name lol) !!

“My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit and have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Hens & Honey Shoppe for Swedesboro, our 136th town.
We had seen this place pop up on our social media feeds, and couldn't wait to try it when we came to town. (Check out their Instagram for great coffee pics and the funny Reels the crew makes.) Valerie & the H&H team exceeded expectations! First off, the shop itself is a work of art with lots of insta-photo-friendly decor.
The iced coffee flight is a must. It's what we came for. We got to try the Fall Special line up (Jack O, Pecan Lane, Flannel Jacket, and Harvest Moon).
It's not just a coffee shop though. The gourmet toasts they offer make for some of the most unique & delicious breakfast or brunch options I've seen. We tried the Smoked Salmon and Bourbon Sweet Honey toasts. WOW! Each of these were a party in our mouths. If we lived close enough, we'd come back more often to try all the toasts out!
The place gets busy, so you might have a wait, but it's WELL worth it.
Disclaimer: I'm writing this review almost a year after we first visited, and the shop has expanded to a larger space in the same plaza that looks just as cool. Can't wait to swing by again between visits to other towns our next time in Gloucester county! (As of Oct 2024, 243 Jersey towns visited, 321 to go!)“

“Wow! What a find ! Went here thinking we were just tasting wine and the innovative coffee combinations and selection was fantastic . I could have been in a coffee coma if I tried everything I wanted to try . Had the gelato and expresso combo . Yum ! Can’t wait to come back and try the cupcake cold brew combination .“
