We go to Gus's in Pennsville for the Texas Wieners, of which my wife is particularly fond. We recently learned that there was a Woodstown branch, and as we had to pass through Woodstown to reach Pennsville we decided to try it. Unlike Pennsville, where the wieners are tightly wrapped and bagged, these came in a box, loosely packed. I'm told they tasted rather different but were still good. Best pizza ever!! One of the very few thing I miss about south jersey . This gentleman handling the pizza has been working here since before I moved to woodstown in 2010. He still remembers me no matter how long it’s been and it makes my heart smile. He’s so warm and welcoming everytime ❤️ this place gives me nostalgia
I’ve lived in Woodstown for 13 years, and Gus’s continues to be my favorite! Lately their food has been exceptional, and I love the little touches like when we order sausage & pepperoni, they take the time to put the sausage in each piece of pepperoni!The food is always delicious!I will never forget a glitch when ordering “a” Texas wiener and receiving EIGHT! My husband and I still laugh and now order specifically by how many we want.
