Merchant Warehouse Retro Cafe & Wine Bar

Jenny is the nicest soul and left a great impression on us during our first visit to the west side of the island. Dropped in for coffee in the morning before they opened, and was super friendly. Had beers the night before, and had a great selection of boomstick.

Absolutely LOVE the vibe! Great food, friendly service, and there was live music in the bar! I snuck in just for the music, even though I'm 16, not 19. Eventually an employee asked me how old I was. I could've lied, but the people here were too nice, so I came clean. I was booted from the bar, but the lady was nice about it, even before learning that I had no intention to drink. And I was still able to hear the music from the restaurant, so I consider it a win-win. Everyone was super nice, and the food was amazing

Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience at the Merchant Warehouse. Stopped in after visiting the tablelands & was served by the two most wonderful women. The partridgeberry cocktail is seriously one of the best drinks I’ve ever had, must try. My fiancé got the fish and chips and I got the hamburger meat poutine, both were great.
Don’t know when we will be back, but we will!!

The fish and chips are the way to go! This place is a vibe but closes early. Patio thats right on the water. Friendly service and Free wifi. Sister restaurant to the Seaside restaurant.

Stopped in for late lunch. Restaurant was upstairs and greeted right away. Thoroughly enjoyed their cod chowder soup and then a small halibut filet. My wife enjoyed their cod chowder fresh cod fish and chips. Took a few minutes to check out their shop downstairs.

What a fantastic place!
While on a cruise we stopped at Woody Point and had a couple of drinks at the Warehouse. What a great atmosphere, the waitrons were so friendly. Great humour and a good laugh. And the beers were very nice.

Ordered the fish burger and it was delicious. I could sit on this patio for hours. Staff were welcoming. Food here and at the old loft are similar in price but this restaurants food and patio is much better. My husband and I order 2 meals with 4 alcoholic drinks and an appetizer and the bill was $112.

The « home made » fish burger is just a small fried cod with one lettuce leaf between two industrial buns. It didn’t taste bad but was really Small for the price

Really cool décor inside and the staff were very nice. Had their fish burger and it came out quick and was very tasty. The bun was great and the fish was crispy and flaky I was very happy.

awesome place to stop in for a pint! they have a lovely patio on the water, a good selection of draft beers, and some great live music! We will be back!

The food was fine, especially the fish - so fresh and delicious! Fires were ok, kind of soggy. Disappointed that there were almost no GF options. But the service was fabulous - we had a server who was so good with our two sons with disabilities. Very respectful, which sadly quite rare.
