Incredible food. Everything was fresh and perfectly executed. Simple comfort food that so many places can get wrong. The fries alone are worth the trip. All the bread was fresh. Even the kids chicken fingers were home made and moist. Accommodated my wife’s gluten free order easily and safely.

Ate there for the first time last night. Had a one piece dish and chips, (as did the three others at the table), and we all agreed it was one of the best fish and chips we had eaten. The creme brulee was delicious and the chocolate brownie with ice cream melted in your mouth. Heading back soon to try the smash burger because it looked amazing. Fantastic little spot. Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service.

Such a great spot. The food is delicious and the servers were so sweet they even called my dad’s sister to let her know we were there. That was the first time we met her 🥰 super cosy too highly recommend the calamari and stew. It was to die for 🤤🤩

Why are you not open today Monday Dec 30.. on your web site It says not open until Wednesday at noon.. what happened to the new year. Disappointed! Are you guys open and never changed your web site... I'm assuming your not according to the web Plans else where now.
If you have a gluten sensitivity, intolerance or allergy this is not a place to eat at. On Sept 27 2024 I went there with my sister for lunch. I advised the waitress Lori, that I have a gluten allergy. I ordered a gluten free Caesar salad and fries which were cooked in a dedicated fryer for just fry’s. When our order came out she brought the fries and advised the chef put croutons on the salad in error and is in the process of doing a new one. About five minutes later the salad came out. I was eating away at the salad and when I was about have way through I found 3 croutons. I thought I was going to get sick in my seat when I found them. I can’t believe the chef did not make a new salad he just tried to pick out the croutons and sent it out for me to eat knowing full well it would make me sick as a dog for days. Our waitress was shocked when we showed her the croutons on the plate with my salad. She had no idea the chef did that. If you have a gluten sensitivity/ allergy ect this is not a place you should ever eat at. Obviously the chef has no understanding of gluten and how it works on someone with a gluten allergy. I was so upset and sick for days….

Wonderful atmosphere service was great the food was fantastic as well. This was my second time here and the consistency was fantastic as I had fish and chips and the portions were really good and the homemade coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended but go on Wednesday because Monday and Tuesday they are closed.

Best atmosphere at Open Mic night. Food was great and the atmosphere was better. An assortment of locals had a go on stage and it was a warm and friendly atmosphere with a warm and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to tourists visiting Carbonear.
