“No complaints about food, service or promptness. My complaint is about your Big Mary Special Day you had. I was saddened to get in the lineup for 30 mins yesterday only to be disappointed by only two burgers per car. With three children aboard and two adults. By the time we got through in Carbonear lineup to find out only two per car, we couldn’t even leave the lineup. I did order two thinking I would get in the lineup again only to find out it was going to take much to long to get another big Mary for the one kid without the other ones going cold. I think if ever a next time you should at least boost it to four. So one kid and two adults did without food from your establishment. But they did get food elsewhere but everyone here likes Mary Browns best. Believe me I do know it was very busy. Maybe next time.”

“Got a banana split. Absolutely massive. 3 HEAPING scoops of ice cream. Perfectly chopped square pineapple pieces. Perfectly halved and de-stemmed strawberries. PERFECTLY halved banana on top of perfectly displayed whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Absolutely amazing. Delicious and beautiful. Not to mention amazing, quick service, and cheap prices.”

“Dined in here about a week ago and it was excellent!!! The staff were friendly and made sure my order was correct before sending it to the kitchen. There was a little bit of a wait but not long at all which was ok because that means your food is going to come out fresh and was it ever! I couldn’t even bite into my chicken sandwich it was that hot and fresh. Best feed of KFC I’ve had in years!!! Wayyy better all around than the one close to my home in conception bay south or others in st John’s and mount pearl. I’ve tried them all. Oh! And FYI the one in bay roberts is really good too!”

“My family and I visited the area to see the boat light display. We had found the Madrock Cafe on our last trip and decided a revisit was in order. They made our group of 6 including a baby feel at home right away! Our server was full of personality and good at her job! As for the food there was very little conversation around the table once the food showed!!!The beans and fish cakes are next level!! This is a great spot to eat that won’t break the bank! If you’re not in the mood to talk but have to go out with the in-laws at Christmas lol, I’d suggest you take them to the Madrock Cafe the food will save your bacon as your mouth will be too full to talk!!!”

“On the 2nd last day of our visit to the island we had fish 'n chips at Legge's and i'm glad it was at the end of our visit because it was the best lunch yet. The Cod was done to perfection and the fries were scrumptious. Definitely saving the best for last (unintentionally) was a good thing because I was spoiled for having lunch anywhere else. Thank-you to the friendly and helpful staff who made the lunch even better.”
