“We had our engagement party at Ninepenny last night, booking the party was a breeze, excellent price point. The space was absolutely amazing, tables for everyone to sit but lots of room to move around and mingle. The bartenders were fantastic, they were so helpful with anything we needed, and so fast! Everyone was raving about the drinks and food, so delicious! We couldn’t be more pleased. Will definitely be booking for any future parties! I can’t recommend Ninepenny enough!”

“Could not recommend this location more if I tried. The staff is always so wonderful and kind every time I stop in. The location can be fairly busy but I’ve never had any issues with wait times or incorrect orders even when they are at their busiest. Some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff members I have had the pleasure of being served by!! All around great location!”

“I love the food here, cant beat freshness. They will cater to dietary needs, less MSG, sodium, gluten free what ever you request. only down fall about this place is I'm not liking the way the new buffet system is set up. A lot of wasted time waiting on items to be ordered and waiting to be cooked. A lot of dishes also and item portions are tiny. I perfer to dine in buffet to eat, pay and leave. While food was delicious as usual, super fresh. I think id perfer to order a make your own combo and or if wanting buffet to dine elsewhere. I love Dragon 88 definitely my go to for Chinese food. Hopefully the old buffet system will come back. Even though I do understand that there was a lot of food wastage from customers. Then in my opinion, they should have to pay for extra food wastage.Still top notch tasty food and prices are within reason. Hours need to be updated outside building entrance. ****”

“I live near Avalon Mall, and I really enjoy Subway. To be honest, I was never very impressed with the sandwiches from the Avalon Mall location because they were rarely made the way I like them.
A few weeks ago, I was in CBS for some work and was really hungry, so I decided to stop by this Subway location and give it a try. That's when I met Manjot. She was so friendly and welcoming, and she made my sandwich exactly the way I wanted it. It was honestly one of the best Subway sandwiches I've had in a long time. Since then, I've been driving from St. John's to this location whenever I'm craving Subway. The service is always great, and the food is consistently made the way I like it.
Manjot's customer service really stands out, and I think she deserves recognition for the excellent job she does. Thank you for making every visit such a positive experience!✨✨”

“We ate here twice as a family while visiting Newfoundland. The food is tasty, generous in portion size, and there was an impressive variety of menu options. There was a small selection of craft beers available and some house specialty cocktails. The servers were friendly and attentive, even though on the second visit they appeared to be shortstaffed. The handcut chicken fingers, French fries, and the cod burger were particularly tasty. Just the exact kind of chill place we needed to relax and unwind.”

“Stopped by Tim Hortons in Conception Bay South with a few friends after a long afternoon drive and honestly it hit the spot perfectly. We grabbed some Timbiebs and a couple of the new wraps, and everything came out fresh and hot without a long wait at all. The staff at the drive-thru were genuinely friendly, which you don't always get, and they even got our complicated order right on the first try. It's a solid spot to regroup and fuel up before heading back out on the road.”
