Darkstar Coffee Roasters in Carbonear is an absolute gem! The café’s esthetics are stunning — a perfect mix of brick, wood, and black accents that give it so much character and charm. I tried their daily handcrafted pie (butter chicken curry with peas and Havarti) and it was absolutely delicious — every single bite! Their chai tea latte was spot on, and I love that they have a professional coffee machine and know how to use it. Definitely a must-stop when visiting Carbonear!

Stopped by here during my trip to Newfoundland. The coffee was great and the baked goods were excellent. I ordered an espresso and my partner ordered a latte. The latte had a little too much milk for her taste, but the quality of the ingredients can't be denied.
We had the toblerone shortbread and the orange cake. They were both so tasty. We actually ate the cookie at the end of the day, and it was still very good, even when it was sitting in the car almost all day. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area
