I only give four stars cause it was way too Smokey when i went in from the sandwich toasting maybe ( might need to crack open a window or a better vent ) , the coffee was good , would have preferred my coffee there then take out ..

Best combo of great coffee and baked goods on the Avalon. Mark and the team are great and the place is cool too. We regularly drive from St. John’s to visit (45 mins) — and the drive from town to Carbonear isn’t exactly a scenic one — so that should indicate how enjoyable Dark Star is.
