My 86 year old mother likes to stop in every now and again when we are out driving; typically weekends. This used to be a staple in her life. She wants a break from the menu at her retirement home.

Fish was NOT fresh it seemed to be reheated was very dry almost like it was frozen fillet not fresh the fries were cold and the mozzarella sticks were not cooked

The food here hasn't changed in the 30+ years I've been going here. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! All of your "big greasy feed" needs can be met here; and with lots of flavor and decent portion size! Definitely worth a visit!

Visiting Newfoundland stopped in for some fish and chips. Great pricing and great food. Definitely will be back for more. 👍

I just tried this for the first time. Had a 2 piece fish and chips. The old lady had cod bites and fries with dressing and gravy.
The amount of food we got was unreal. There was so much!
The flavour though!
It was unbelievable.
I don't know if they're always this good, but wow.
The fish was the best I ever had in NL. So crispy and crunchy outside, but succulent and juicy inside. Filled with flavor.
The fries were amazing.
After so many disappointing fish and chip places over the last year, this was worth the wait!
I'll definitely be back!

Fries lots of them drowned in what they call gravy. If you likes your Fries soggy this is the spot to be at. Yeah no Chinese food here they took the woks up to keep up with the fish and chips demand. Hmmm went for one thing and got some sandwich worth maybe 5 bucks and overpriced soggy Fries. I am glad I went here not ever again peace out to ya ol lady . Don't work to hard with them flapping doors they might just take ya out .
