Starbucks

The atmosphere is very comfortable and modern. The service was friendly and helpful; our orders were on point. Their coffee is "middle of the road" in my opinion, and, WAAAAAY overpriced!

This is usually my favorite Starbucks to grab a coffee from before heading to town. Very disappointed when I called at 8:20 this morning with almost an hour notice to give the baristas a heads up that I needed a coffee traveller, as they had the mobile ordering turned off due to lack of staff she explained & told me they could not do it as 9:30 is their busy time. But I was requesting for 9:15 and have it done before they got busy. It was even 8:20 when I called.. she said I would have to wait 45 minutes even though I called to give lots of time to do it... because other orders would be coming through and then I got hung up on.. I guess mine wouldn't be a priority. Very disappointing.

Great service, really fast for a Starbucks! Fine for a drivethru but wouldn't want to go in and enjoy a coffee. Not much soft seating, mostly just wooden chairs and tables.

Trying to grab a cold drink after a run with my dog, other customers confronting me about not being able to take my dog inside, calling the dog derogatory names as I’m walking out the door? Last visit.

I have a hearing impairment from my past career. Only been in this store twice, no idea where to stand. And I must haven’t heard someone fast enough, and then I got berated by one of the workers. She’s asked me “ ARE YOU READY NOW TO ORDER ?” While looking like she wanted to jump across the counter and me. I just said I’m sorry my love and walked out.

Usually get coffee thru the drive-thru here and it's usually fine. I decided to finally head inside and had such a bad experience with the four young girls working behind the counter, the store was empty around 5:00 PM on Sunday, yet no one took our order despite their being four of them talking. After speaking out we finally got our order in, the three of them decided it was a good time to go in the back and proceed to laugh / talk loudly for the next 10 minutes, only one girl was actually working at the drive-thru window.

I was CONFUSED why no one was making our drinks, after waiting for those 10 minutes one of the girls finally decided to come back and make our drinks. Our drinks were made swiftly and given with just a "Here". She was then followed by the others who were carrying milk cartons, so the whole time they were there they were not even grabbing stuff for our drinks. I understand needing to grab things and taking breaks, but their behaviour was extremely "mean girl-esque" the whole time and it leads me to believe it might have been racially related since I'm a visible minority. I left the store without even hearing an apology or acknowledged on why the drink that took a minute to make had a 10 minute wait time. Such a shame since all the other starbucks in NL have been friendly and courteous.
