Brockway's Restaurant & Bar

we went for the Christmas Eve breakfast. The food was great, can't complain there. The service on the other hand wasn't. our server , Candice, took our order and delivered our food. that's all she done. no checking back to see if all was good. no coming back to top up coffee and we had to ask her for condiments. we ordered water and never got it. we did however tip because that's what we do.

We had a great time at Brockaways, everyone loved their food! Big portions, and awesome service!

Place is inside the Hotel and open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice view over Corner Brook.

Server was ok. She was honest when l asked about the tastless small piece of fish (after the fact.)The 20$ 'pan fried fish' was deep fried!!!!! and previously frozen. So disappointed.
I am gluten-free, so specifically asked for pan fried w no flour!!!

First and last time here. You should not be serving this fish. The potato was old and one side was too hard to eat. We are in Newfoundland during fishing season.!!! The bill was $63.00 plus tip , counting our ceasars. We were tired and hungry from the road, add sad after that. .... if I had that time back, the fish would have been removed from the bill! We were just to exhausted to argue.

Don’t waste your money. Service was sub par. No water, no offer of tea or coffee or dessert. My food was really not edible. Won’t return.

Service was ok. Our plates were still on the table when we left. The 'fish' was Captain Highliner and small portions. couldn't believe it . Baked potato was old and completely hard on one side! I am Celiac and asked for panfried which was on the menu as such. I specifically asked for no coating. It came deep fried!!! I am still shaking, wondering about cross contamination. Most on it was left on the plate. our server told us that their 'supplier' was sending smaller portions. No offer was made to rectify the situation. No eye contact when we paid. Our bill was 63$ plus tip, and I may as well have thrown the $ away. So angry. Will never, ever be back. So much for reviews. They lie. Word of mouth speaks louder.

The breakfast is really good and the view of Corner Brook is incredible. Got some Newfoundland tradition food also. Definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Great service and excellent food. The fish chowder was delicious as was the fish and chips served with house made tartar sauce, Coleslaw and fries.

Great meal tonight at Brockway’s. Fish tacos with red onion and spinach were delicious. Good reports from our group on your club sandwich and quesadilla. Friendly, prompt service even though the restaurant was quite busy at the time we were there. We will be back.

Went there with a crowd for an 80th birthday celebration. Meals in general were great. Service was great. Only complaint was the Fettuccine Alfredo. A customer paid the extra for shrimp over the chicken for the protein. It was a hardy plate of pasta but 4 tiny shrimp (with shell left on) was very disappointing for a main course.

A group of nine of us just ate there, and we were mostly happy with all of our meal choices. We started with sharing chicken wings, the spinach dip, and onion rings, which were all delicious. Supper choices included the cod, the fish and chips, a crispy chicken wrap, and four of us had chicken stirfry. Unfortunately, three people got the Thai chicken stirfry, and it was too spicy for everybody. I would recommend to the owner to revise the menu to reflect that it is a spicy Thai sauce. We ended up switching meals around so that the people who could not eat the spicy foods were able to eat something. But overall, a very good experience.

Just had their fish burger and it was to die for. absolutely delicious. Koodos to the cook
