I'm giving one star because to me the service is one of the biggest parts. My husband is there for work so decided to go to Jungle Jim's for supper. Half way through his meal he didn't have his drink and had to wave down another server to get it. Then upon time for payment the server handed him the machine AFTER she already chose the 20% tip option herself. Tips are earned and I didn't think servers were allowed to do that on the debit machine. Disgusting behaviour!

We have been here a few times now and lucky enough to have same server Jemal. There are not enought good words for how professionl and polite this young man is. He knows his job and does it well. I (Heather) enjoy a good Ceasar and he makes the best!! Hope he gets recognized by the company for his outstanding service. He gets a 10 out of 10.

Can’t comment on food, but it’s New Years Day and I ordered take out. Sat at the bar watching 3-4 floor staff getting crushed and they are all working very hard, not a moment is spared feeding what looks to be half of Corner Brook (pretty sure it’s the only place open). Props for being open. Hopefully someone gets a chance to see me so I can get a beer and patiently wait for my take out. Thanks though, JJ team! Hope some kind words treat you well on a wildly, seemingly, not fun service lol.

This was my second time dining here, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. My partner and I went for a date, and the food and service were mostly great!

I ordered the chicken burger and swapped out the tomato for pickles which turned out to be a great choice. The pickles added a nice tang that really balanced the flavors. I decided to substitute the fries for onion rings, but I did end up regretting that one. The onion rings were overly greasy and had a strange aftertaste, so I probably wouldn’t get those again.

My partner had “The Godfather Chicken Alfredo” and she thought it was pretty good overall. The garlic bread that came with it was unfortunately rock hard, but that was really her only complaint. She said the Alfredo could have used a bit more sauce, but the flavor itself was solid. She had a Pepsi that was nice and crisp and I ordered the Berry Breeze. I had asked for maraschino cherries, but they used frozen cranberries instead not a big deal, though, since it still tasted great. for an appetizer we had the BBQ taquitos hands down the best thing we had! They were packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and the smoky barbecue taste was unreal. Honestly, I’d come back just for those taquitos alone!

Our waiter, Adrian was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. We had a nice conversation, and he checked in just the right amount without hovering.

All in all, a pleasant visit with great service and good food (minus the onion rings). I’ll definitely be back again!

Good food. Prices are a bit steep. 25 bucks for 12 wings ain't really that good but wings are nice and crispy. Fish and chips is good even though Filipino guy don't know what chips even are 😄 be prepared to tip

Just ate at your restaurant and had a wonderful meal and the service was awesome! Will definitely eat there again and recommend it to friends.

Cayden greeted us with kindness and positive energy. His service was excellent.

We had a birthday brunch and the service and food was fabulous!! Our server was super friendly and very nice to deal with. She said she was fairly new there but I want to say she treated us with so much class and personality that she deserves to be commended and rewarded. She was absolutely fantastic!!! Thank you to our server, you certainly go above and beyond for your guests. 💜 wish there were more servers like you. Jungle Jim’s is very lucky to have you.

However, I want to add, that as fabulous as our server was, we noticed some senior staff not being so friendly to her when she had to ask a question or correct the bill. There was no need to make her feel little or put down because of a simple mistake. She was great at what she did. So sorry you were treated like that. Management needs to let staff know to be kind to their coworkers. It was very uncalled for. This lady was so great at what she did. I would come back to Jungle Jim’s just because of her service. If you can be anything, BE KIND!!

All tge food wass deep friend not much choices for other dietary allergies. Also felt rushed to eat & leave. Food was good plenty portions size a bit more than expected .
