Menu on the four square website is outdated. Please use the menu on the official newfound sushi website.
I've eaten sushi all over Canada and in the Caribbean but this place was incredible. Definitely the best I've ever eaten. Try the sushi pizza!

We have been coming here for years. Every time, it is a wonderful experience.
Now, we plan our visits around their opening schedule.
Last night, was again perfection. Only this time, we had Nathan as our server.
Thank you, for the wonderful food and outstanding service.
See you on our return trip.

Very good for a small town sushi joint.
Hands down the best restaurant in town. Consistently excellent.

Probably the best sushi in Canada
Let's start with the mizu soup is totally delicious, we ordered a boat, really everything was delicious, but the view of your rolls are spectacular, the atmosphere is pleasant, the attention is great, we are visiting from Nova Scotia, we are Mexicans visiting Newfouland and I can only say this place is the best on the island, congratulations

My party of 4 tried to eat here tonight. When we arrived there were 2 groups ahead of us in line. The first group got in within a few minutes. The second group of 4 was told the wait would be 30 minutes (which is what they told us as they were walking out). For some reason, a male worker with dark hair told me that our wait time would be “an hour and a half” and didn’t offer to call us when a table would be free —- very odd behavior

Had a very disappointing experience at Newfound Sushi.
The sushi rolls, especially the signature rolls are over priced. I ordered a crispy tempura, and that was so bland. The rolls at Colemans (grocery store) tastes better.
The worst of it all was the Ramen. Paid $20 for a bowl with 2 small pieces of pork, 1 shiitake mushroom sliced into 5 pieces and lots of corn. On top of this when I asked if this can be made spicy, I was recommended chilli oil on the side, for which I was charged an additional $2, and that dint taste like chilli oil. It was like sesame oil with sesame seeds.

This sushi was absolutely incredible, you can definitely taste the freshness from the local seafood. They weren’t slacking on stuffing their rolls or the size of them. It was a bit of a wait for them to make everything and pricey, but for the amount you’re getting and the quality I had no regrets. Only issue is, I wish I got more, it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. And with such a large menu I had trouble choosing what to get.

The food was pretty underwhelming but the service was very good. The rice in some of the rolls were too cold and stale which was disappointing for the price I paid. I was travelling and decided to visit and was expecting very fresh and high quality since it is located in coastal region but it was a bit of a let down. It is a good place for a small town like Corner brook but if you have travelled around and tried sushi from other places, this would be average. However, the servers were very attentive and kind.
