I heard good things about this spot so the past 3 times I’ve been in Corner Brook I’ve tried to go. Alas, I live in NS, so between late ferry arrivals and long drives, I’ve never made it before close. Tonight was close, but we DID manage to get take-out, and boy, am I glad we did!
This is next level sushi, plain and simple. The fish is beyond fresh, the maki is cut to a perfectly reasonable size, the ingredients are inspired, and the flavours are top notch. I’ve eaten a lot of really good sushi, but this was beyond. I may now be ruined for any of my NS faves.
We had (and thoroughly enjoyed) the spicy salmon maki, spicy tuna maki, Northern Lights roll and Tsunami roll. All were phenomenal. We also shared a cod bao and a pork bao. The cod bao was ok, but nothing to really write home about. I wanted to love it, and it was good, but nothing special. The Pork bao, on the other hand, was incredible. Tender, crave-able flavour. The buns themselves were perfectly pillowy.
I wish I lived closer, because now I want to try everything else. If you like sushi, Newfound Sushi will blow your mind. Do yourself a favour and go!

This is my and my husband’s favourite spot for date night and to take friends to when they come to visit in corner brook. Our server was Ashlee and she was awesome and checked on us multiple times. I asked for some sauce to go with my crunchy shrimp roll and she brought out this spicy creamy one and a different one to try and that combo was the best!
I have not given a 5 statement review in long time, they do not come lightly with me. It was a wonderful experience and my first true sushi experience. The menu had a large selection, the service was great the food was very good and an unforgettable experience all around.
