Best burger I’ve ever had, and such friendly people, Tash is wonderful! 😄
Been here a few times always great service from friendly staff. Today I had their entry into the Gander burger battle. It was the best burger I have ever had. Aside from the extras on the burger - sautéed onions and mushrooms, a blend of bbq sauces, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, seasoned cheese sauce - the two 4 oz paddies were tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The only downer - a minor one, is their choice of coated fries. Unfortunately the burger is only available for month of November.

We stopped here while driving thru. The decided on the place based on the 4.5 star reviews, but the food was very disappointing.

Its connected to a hotel. Its an okay restaurant. The staff were great! The food was the let down - it wasn't bad, it just didn't excel. Started with the fried ravioli which are just mozzarella sticks but tasted great. I had the fish and chips: menu doesn't specify what kind of fish, and it was a generic fish and chips (also the poutine had shredded cheese and the gravy wasn't dark brown, maybe a turkey gravy?). Wife had cod gratin. She enjoyed it, had a lot of cheese, a bonus in her book. I don't recommend the crumble, I thought it was a bland mushy disaster: I'm sorry to the restaurant for being that blunt. The staff was great, very friendly. Wine was only 6 bucks too.

We stayed at hotel and ate dinner there. It was excellent. Tash was our server. She was efficient and friendly. We loved the french onion soup and the wildberry crumble. We experimented with the fried ravioli and determined that it was not our thing. The wine was good and a great price. Overall an excellent experience at a good price.

Very very good food and reasonably priced! We had the soup of the day and the burger’ very huge portions! Restaurant was empty, we were the only ones there and food was quickly delivered and hot!

Inside a quality inn hotel. Food was ok but not great. Service was good. My partner got the special and she was less happy than i was. Medium busy. We sat right down. The reviews on line that I saw were too. This is a 4.

Not many options in Gander for dinner but the food was good here. Home cooking flavors.

Good service. The pasta I ordered was kinda flavourless. My friend’s food looked good though.

I’m amazed there’s actually 5 star reviews for this place. We’ve stayed at the hotel numerous times and have yet to have decent food from the restaurant. We are not picky eaters at all, but holy! Just this last visit, the nachos were terrible. I spoke to several of the staff and they said people constantly complain about the nachos but the cook refuses to take any criticism. Dude, we are simply asking for more than a tablespoon of cheese on the very top layer! Wait staff even told me if I only wanted a small serving of nachos to not order the child’s nacho because they were disgusting. The wings. I can only assume the massive breading is because they were cheaper for you to buy. Again, wait staff said “they even serve those at the bar, people want a dry spice option but can’t get it”. Also, why weren’t they tossed in the sauce instead of getting one little tub of sauce to dip them in? The breakfast, god. No choice of meat, and only scrambled eggs which are so crumbly you can’t eat them with a fork hardly. That was just this last visit. We stay there because the location was convenient, but the food here for every visit has been terrible.
