Been here a few times always great service from friendly staff. Today I had their entry into the Gander burger battle. It was the best burger I have ever had. Aside from the extras on the burger - sautéed onions and mushrooms, a blend of bbq sauces, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, seasoned cheese sauce - the two 4 oz paddies were tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Its connected to a hotel. Its an okay restaurant. The staff were great! The food was the let down - it wasn't bad, it just didn't excel. Started with the fried ravioli which are just mozzarella sticks but tasted great. I had the fish and chips: menu doesn't specify what kind of fish, and it was a generic fish and chips (also the poutine had shredded cheese and the gravy wasn't dark brown, maybe a turkey gravy?). We stayed at hotel and ate dinner there. It was excellent. Tash was our server. She was efficient and friendly. We loved the french onion soup and the wildberry crumble. We experimented with the fried ravioli and determined that it was not our thing. The wine was good and a great price. Overall an excellent experience at a good price.
