We were traveling from Rocky Harbour to Twillingate and stopped in Grand Falls Windsor as it is about half way. We had lunch here and found the service excellent. The food was typical pub food and was good. One in our party is gluten free and vegetarian so her choices were more limited. The turkey soup and the clubhouse were delicious
So I am told that I MUST see Gros Morne National Park before I leave Newfoundland by some locals. So, rent a car from St John's to Gros Morne and away we go!I wanted to stop in Gander, but with some energy, I keep it moving till I get to Grand Falls. Hubby thought this place looked a bit sketchy, but was fine. Food was decent. This town has very little available if you want to eat after 7. Hubby had fish and chips and he was very happy with them. I had a stir fry, it was good, just a bit more cooked than I prefer. Very friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: There were kids there, everyone was having a good time.Parking: Parked right in front.
