Stopped in for lunch after visiting port au choix. Poutine was delicious. Very friendly and quick service. Their bathroom was pristine. Definitely a great place to stop for a quick bite!
The best fried chicken, and best fries/dressing/gravy I've ever had, anywhere. I've eaten there many times over the years, and have never gotten to eat anything else on the menu, because those two items are just too good.
We had no expectations other than we were hungry and needed somewhere quick to eat. Turned out to be the best fried chicken we’ve had. Rosemary and Wavey were both awesome, lovely Newfoundlanders. Highly recommend

C & P Drive-In is a popular stop along the Northern Pennisula. Their fish and chips, with crispy batter and fresh fish, are a standout item, and the fried codfish is likely the best anyone has had in 30 years. The batter is homemade, very light, and slightly spicy, with fish that was freshly caught. Other menu options include tender chicken, crispy fries, and cheeseburgers, served with coleslaw and onion rings. The fried onions with the burgers are a very nice touch. The staff are friendly and efficient, making it a welcoming spot to grab a meal. It is a small place seating ten or so, with clean, modern, and minimal decor. It is a nice break from chain restaurants and much better food, offering the best meal on the roadside.
