Was in for breakfast Thursday with a good friend and what a delight. Young lady served us and kept the coffee mugs full. Food was fine and seemed to be cooked with care. Rye toast which is not usually an option at a small place. I'll definitely be back. My advice to the complainers, stay at home cuz you don't seem to like anywhere you go checking your other reviews.

Ordered ham and eggs when it arrived it looked inedible, big piece of bone sticking out big piece of fat running through it. I asked the waitress to take it away and I will have sausage, the meal came back with a smaller piece of ham which was so tough you could have put it on the bottom of your shoes, the shredded home fries were very greasy asked for eggs over medium didn’t get that either , at that point I just ate the toast and asked for my plate to be taken away. my husbands eggs Benedict was very nice. Time to pay and the waitress said sorry no reduction on bill. Sad to say will not be back. And there is no way I was rude to your staff

Little town, great diner. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and kept that coffee coming. Was a little bit of a trip from London but worth it.

Almost passed it by on a drive to Grand Bend but turned around at the last minute and best decision ever! Turkey Club was simple but delicious with loads of fresh sliced turkey and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his homemade burger and onion rings. Our server was pleasant and quick! Service was great! Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area!

I worked here, and I need to warn both staff and customers about what really goes on. The main problem is the owner. He tried to control my personal life, and when I didn’t allow that, he took it out on me at work by cutting hours and creating a hostile environment. He is extremely controlling toward his employees, to the point where it feels pointless to even try.
The price of food may be cheap, but the quality is garbage — and the owner refuses to let anyone make improvements. For example, don’t expect decent French toast here. He won’t allow anything except plain egg, claiming cinnamon sugar is “gross.” Staff are stuck serving food the way he demands, even when they know it could be better.
The way he treats customers is just as bad. If he doesn’t like you, he’ll disrespect you, harp on you, or even kick you out. It’s the opposite of good customer service.
The staff themselves work hard and genuinely care, but the owner’s behavior makes it impossible to deliver quality food or service.
If you’re considering working here, be warned: the stress comes directly from the top. If you’re considering eating here, understand that the disrespect and poor quality come from the way this place is being run — not from the employees.
