“Catching up with a couple of good old friends and this was the best spot for breakfast just before I flew back out to Ontario. I was recommended to fish cakes which I had with soft poached eggs. Loved it and was stuffed.
Our server was extremely attentive and noticed that I had a large luggage. She offered to stow it with the hotel stuff.“

“Took my wife there to celebrate her birthday. Hadn't been there in a few years. Just have to say that the food and service was exceptional. Our server Stephanie was the best. She checked in with us numerous times throughout the evening to make sure everything was just right at our table. Finished off the evening with a Creme Brule that was done to perfection. Thank you so much staff & management. Highly recommend The Keg for and evening out with your sweetheart, family or friends!!“

“Heard great things about this location from a coworker so we decided to check it out last Friday for date night. To say we had an amazing time would be an understatement! The server was so lovely, it was her first night on the job but I honestly never would have known only for she told me. Honestly the best service I have ever received, hands down! The food was also amazing, not our first time at a Jungle Jim's, we've been to different locations over the years but our first time at this one and it was honestly the best feed of JJ's we've ever had. The entertainment was also a great added bonus. The band that night was "Down Forward" and they were exceptional! We are already planning out next visit!“
“Visited there this weekend for an hour, first walking in it reminded me of going to a “shed party” lol I had to stop & look around to make sure it wasn’t someone’s private party place. Altho a little cramped, it’s a small place seemed like a nice little spot. Seemed like most people knew each other. We were staying at a neighbouring hotel & just wanted a an hour out & it was around the corner.“

I ordered a skillet for breakfast, and it tasted good, but it was more potatoes only with some little pices of sausage and bacon. a bit overpriced for breakfast if you consider what you get (quality and quantity).
4 star only for friendly staff.“

“Fun bar, not super busy early evening. Friendly locals. Note as of Aug 2024 their food machine is down, so no food. Strippers breeze through on the way out back to smoke, but fully covered. A slight tinge of "something bad might happen here" since there's crack heads about outside. But it's what makes it awesome.“

“I've been going to Lottie's every time I've been to Newfoundland for the past 20 years. Nothing says 'I've arrived' on George Street like a White Russian in a plastic cup! Beyond friendly service, and everyone having a great time. This bar is most definitely a stand out, and worth it just to even chat with the bartenders (assuming it's not past 10 pm on Thu / Fri / Sat). A must-visit.“

“I went here for dinner on my last night of a recent trip to Newfoundland. The food and service were fantastic! I was absolutely delighted with the number of gluten-free options. My daughter is vegetarian, and she was very pleased with her options as well. And of course the carnivore of the group enjoyed their food immensely!“

“Recently visited for a Take Home Margarita Kit. They were unable to make it for me after I had paid and was sat down waiting for it. Of course, I was so sad I didn’t get to have margaritas at home, but they handled the situation absolutely perfectly! We have visited this location plenty of times, and always have incredible service. Thanks for all you do! Keep up the amazing work!“
