“I must say this place is the BEST restaurant in mount pearl surrounding area for the hottest freshest food, the chicken pieces were huge I ORDERED a four piece and got full off two of the piece ! Also theres a young ald i think his name is Alex, he is such a good persona dm the customer seevice is out of this world, we have chats everytike i come in and he always makes sure i enjoy what i ordered! First time I felt I was eating in a restaurant instead of a fast food place.

“A big Kudos going out to employee, Paris, her manager, and all staff at Mary Browns, Topsail Road branch! I was just trying to make a special birthday for my beautiful hard working niece who just finished up a 12 hour (unpaid I will add) nursing clinical shift so she could come home and rest for her next day. Due to delays outside of their control (specifically uber eats and their unreliability with not one but two drivers) Paris successfully took charge and ensured a fresh meal was delivered! It is employees like these that need to be commended and appreciated! And for her to have the support of her manager was also amazing! In the end, it was worth the wait and the communication during was outstanding. Thank you all! I will also mention that they decided to refund my order which I do appreciate and did not expect, and will work with them to donate that to some less fortunate in our community. Be proud Mary Browns, Topsail Road!“

“I do not eat out often. Seldom, I take my children to this particular restaurant and haven’t gotten disappointed once. Of course, the food is amazing, but what I’m looking for is a friendly staff. Their staff has never disappointed. I realize that everyone can have a bad day, however their stay is truly consistently positive, courteous, prompt and attentive and I’m most grateful ☺️“

“I always come back for the Wing Sampler Platter and love trying different flavors—my favorite so far is Mayday! The service, however, can be hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great, but if you arrive within the last hour before closing, it feels like they’re rushing you to finish and leave. Even though I always make sure to finish before closing, it’s uncomfortable being checked on constantly to see if I'm done. Overall, I enjoy the food, but the service could be more consistent.“

“I eat here for lunch and supper quite often. The food is always excellent and at a great price. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and provide top notch service. Also a great place to grab a beer after the game at the MBC. Highly recommend!!“

“Had a great sub here - yes, a sub. They are definitely superior to the other guys. Only downside is you can’t see the other toppings in store and have to ask about them, but they’re glad to help you out. Their service was friendly and quick and the bacon cheeseburger oven-baked sub was just perfect. The store was clean and pretty conveniently located on Torbay Road.

“Had the Batter's Box. It came to $29 with a drink. It included 6 pieces of chicken, taters or fries, 2 biscuits and gravy. It wasn't anything to write home about. Could barely taste any seasoning on the chicken or taters and if you don't like dark meat it's a total waste of money. There was only one white piece. The rest was wings and thighs and 1 leg. I can't comment on the biscuit as I never even bothered to try it. ?“

“I called in my order on Monday night for the Festive Feast, for our card club ladies. They were super busy there. I picked up on our arranged time from a very welcoming staff person. The chicken was delicious, hot, & tasty. Thank you for a wonderful meal. This was the Torbay Mary Browns.“

“Best food, worst of the worst employees. I don't know how many times I have complained but no change in behavior other than the supervisor.

Nothing to do with racism but that one specific Indian employee is so bad behaving and one of the worst person ever to exist.“

“Staff were very nice and pleasant to deal with. Wasn't too busy, the food took a bit to come out but for good reason-- they cooked it then and it didn't sit under a heat lamp for an hour. Place looks a bit boring and sterile but better than a dump.“
