“After a hectic week at home with 2 busy boys I decided tonight I wasn't going to cook! I ordered online and accidently ordered the wrong time. I called the store(Blackmark Road) and explained to the employee I had made a mistake and she was very friendly and told me not to worry and she would have my order ready at the correct time. “A big Kudos going out to employee, Paris, her manager, and all staff at Mary Browns, Topsail Road branch! I was just trying to make a special birthday for my beautiful hard working niece who just finished up a 12 hour (unpaid I will add) nursing clinical shift so she could come home and rest for her next day. Due to delays outside of their control (specifically uber eats and their unreliability with not one but two drivers) Paris successfully took charge and ensured a fresh meal was delivered! It is employees like these that need to be commended and appreciated! And for her to have the support of her manager was also amazing! In the end, it was worth the wait and the communication during was outstanding. Thank you all! I will also mention that they decided to refund my order which I do appreciate and did not expect, and will work with them to donate that to some less fortunate in our community. Be proud Mary Browns, Topsail Road!“

“I do not eat out often. Seldom, I take my children to this particular restaurant and haven’t gotten disappointed once. Of course, the food is amazing, but what I’m looking for is a friendly staff. Their staff has never disappointed. I realize that everyone can have a bad day, however their stay is truly consistently positive, courteous, prompt and attentive and I’m most grateful ☺️“

“Had a great sub here - yes, a sub. They are definitely superior to the other guys. Only downside is you can’t see the other toppings in store and have to ask about them, but they’re glad to help you out. Their service was friendly and quick and the bacon cheeseburger oven-baked sub was just perfect. The store was clean and pretty conveniently located on Torbay Road.

“Had the Batter's Box. It came to $29 with a drink. It included 6 pieces of chicken, taters or fries, 2 biscuits and gravy. It wasn't anything to write home about. Could barely taste any seasoning on the chicken or taters and if you don't like dark meat it's a total waste of money. There was only one white piece. The rest was wings and thighs and 1 leg. I can't comment on the biscuit as I never even bothered to try it. ?“

“The service was great, especially for a very busy night at the restaurant. The children's food ended up being very spicy. We were told that it could be because it's made in the same fryer as the cactus chips. It was too spicy for both children.“
