Lounges in Saint Lunaire Griquet, NL

“We stumbled upon Skipper Hot's because it was the only thing open later on a weeknight. Except it really wasn't. But it was. We got there and the kitchen was closed and there were 2 guys sitting at the bar. We were ready to turn around when the woman behind the bar asked what we wanted. My kid's go to is a plain cheeseburger and fries. We were told to sit. 10 minutes later, the meal appeared. We got to talking with the 2 guys at the bar and the bartender and had a great conversation about them and us. They invited us back for Become an Honorary Newfoundler Night so, of course, we had to go. The place was packed and the live music was so much fun! The guys we met the night before recognized us and hung out for awhile. We were in the area for about 5 days and at least 1/2 our meals happened at Skipper Hot's. The food isn't fancy, but it's good! I'm vegan so there weren't so many options for me but I'm always happy with fries and a beer!“
