Skipper Hot's Pub is a great little spot with a fun, authentic Newfoundland atmosphere. The menu is excellent, featuring great fish and chips, mussels, chowder, and moose options like a moose burger, moose soup, and a delicious hot moose sandwich. The pub grub is tasty with good portions and is not overpriced. Service is great and friendly, with super nice staff who are thoughtful, such as offering to increase the room's heat for cold customers. While service can be a little slow, the great food and fun atmosphere more than make up for it. The Friday Night Kitchen Party offers a wonderful evening with great music. It is definitely the place to go.
