Fish and chips was yummy, the hubby had a Moose burger and Moose poutine, and he ate it All. Friendly atmosphere, great service. Cold beer. And great prices.

If you're in the area plan to stop and eat (maybe drink) at this gem! The menu was excellent, mussel's and chowder were great. My wife had what she said was her favorite Fish and Chips here.

A laid back pub, clearly dear to the locals. But they serve moose burgers, which we wanted to try. Quite tasty.

We had a wonderful evening. We dined and stayed for the Friday Night Kitchen Party. Such a great, authentic Newfoundland experience. Great fish and chips, great music and great service.

We were cold and wet from a rainy, windy September visit to L'anse aux Meadows when we stopped at Skipper Hot's Lounge to eat and warm up. It was the middle of the afternoon, but the parking lot was crowded. Turned out to be a group decorating for a wedding dance the next night. We grabbed a table and were quickly served. To my surprise they had moose on the menu: moose soup, moose burger, and hot moose sandwich. I went with the sandwich, and it was delicious. Washed it down with an Iceberg beer. It was fun watching the lights being put up and the kids trying to play pool while the adults worked. Great little place.

Delicious food! Great, fun atmosphere. Definitely the place to go! The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that service was a little slow, however, the super nice staff, great food and fun atmosphere more than made up for that!! Would definitely go back!!

They also offered to increase the room's heat when they saw we were freezing.
That was quite thoughtful.

Great little spot that's not overpriced and the pub grub is great. Had the Moose burger, and the wife had tossed salad and LT sandwich. Great service and great atmosphere. Our server was fantastic.

Their Philly steaks are good. They are decent outside of Philly. Add the gravy to it and it's like a hot roast beef.

This restaurant was recommended by some locals and it did not disappoint, especially the chicken fingers (tasty and good size) and the moose poutine (even though they didn’t use cheese curds, the gravy more than made up for it)

Great little spot. Kind of unassuming from the outside but very clean and nice inside. Beer is very cold, and the service is great!! Our food came out in just a few minutes. Pan fried cod was excellent!!
