This place was recommended to us so we stopped on our way across the island. Very awesome place. Felt like eating at a friend’s place. Fish was great. Fries were unbelievably good. Definitely recommend you stop here too.
I love eating here Ed's breakfast special 2 eggs, 2 toast, meat choice and hash browns or baked beans with tea or coffee for under $14, can't be beat. Even does a 10% truckers discount.
If we could give 4.5 we would. We deduct half a star because the meat was slightly dry and the mashed potatoes subpar (they need more butter & milk), the carrots were amazing. The atmosphere was delightful and homely. We loved, the decorations, old till & piano display. The owners do a lot for charity. They made us sign their guest book and gave us a free branded pen!! The perfect place to stop along the way.
