Great food and friendly service!
I had a fantastic experience at Marrybrown Chicken in St. Anthony. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The fried chicken was crispy.The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere for dining in. It’s great to see a well-run place like this in a small town. Definitely my go-to spot whenever I’m craving tasty comfort food. Highly recommend!”

“I was there on Tuesday evening and had the pleasure of being served by Harshdeep. I have to say that young man was polite, friendly, and helpful. I asked for a muffin (They sold the last one while I was in line waiting) the young man told me to wait one second and he returned with a fresh hot muffin from the back. He seemed quite busy yet took the time to run out and find my muffin. I really appreciated it!”

“I can't believe there are so few reviews of this place! it is AN EXPERIENCE!! The food is fantastic and the menu is huge. I've lived in the area for about 8 years and been visiting for longer, the food form this excellent restaurant is consistently fulfilling, satisfying, fresh and has generous servings for reasonable prices. The take out service is fabulous and it's a miracle they keep up with the demand. Eating in is a different experience but interesting none the less. I get the impression that nothing has changed at all since the late 80s or 90s as far as decor, lighting and equipment. The tables and chairs are likely much older than that. The thing is, it's all clean and in good repair so I have to agree that there is no need to replace it, it's just very dated so that sets the atmosphere when you first walk in. The lighting is dim as well and sometimes there is no music or sound at all. All of that is a bit off putting and yet, when there is a crowd in the restaurant eating, it is a really nice experience. People talk to each other and about the excellent food and good service. As far as good food, this is it, try everything on the menu, it's all good. The dine-in atmosphere could definitely use the touch of a designer and historian. Putting effort into telling the story of this unique restaurant in this unique area of The Rock would be interesting to locals and to visitors. Overall, 10/10 food and value. Food excluded, The Dine-In experience gets a 5/10 only because of this odd, half-open kind of feeling when sitting in there to eat. This community loves this restaurant and it wouldn't be the same without it!!”

“Food is good and plentiful but simple: buffet with salad, roasted root veggies, roast beef, baked cod, moose stew (more veggies than moose), beans, bread, berry cake for dessert, tea and coffee; Viking show is kind of simple—storytelling and audience participation, no music; only lasts 1.5 hours; rather overpriced at $70 CAD per person (including tax), but staff/performers are very talkative and friendly”
