Simply put Bitters is a Great restaurant/bar.

They almost always have deals on and their happy hour bogo 50% Off on drinks is awesome.

The food is great as well. I've had nachos and a hot turkey sandwich and neither have disappointed. The nachos had a queso style cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese. Very nice with a beer and friends.

Hot turkey sandwich was great. Fries were crisp and perfectly salted. The chef thrrewya twist into this as well and used a large bun instead of traditional bread slices. The bread was phenomenal. It was a fun year t elegant spin on a classic.

So the chef likes to put spins on the food. Makes it more exciting to order. What about the drinks?

As I mentioned the happy hour deal is great. We had the pumpkin spice style Halloween cocktails and they were like an alcohol infused pumpkin spice latte in flavor once the whipped cream was stirred in. Then a couple Quidi Vidi beer which you can't go wrong with.

Varied menu, nice drink menu. Friendly staff, good deals.

You don't have to be associated with Mun. Come check out Bitters 👍

It was the best part of living at Coughlan, the rest of the houses bragged about having tunnel access but they didn't have their own bar...

Renovations look great! Fantastic gender neutral and accessible washrooms.

Nachoes were very subpar. Menu prices are quite high. Wish I could give a strong recommendation, but the food let us down. Hopefully it's something they bring up to the same quality as the renos!

Glad to see trivia back though!

Eaten there a few times now. Food did not disappoint. Service was great. staff friendly. Would definitely recommend dropping by for a meal and beverage.

Surprisingly good food, certainly an improvement since the renovations.

The menu prices are a bit all over the place, some items are amazing value, some items are absurdly overpriced. We had the bitters burger and falafel burger, and they were both great quality. The fries are just as good as they used to be.

Big upgrade to the interior, feels much more modern and clean now, perhaps a bit less cozy though. Worth your time to check it out

I haven't visited the bar since before the renovations. I was eating muscles on MUN's campus! Pre-renovation I always liked bitters, but now, with the work they've done, I think I'll visit much more often. Great servers as well.

Horrible food. The fries were re-re-refried. The glasses of water tasted as soap. The fish was meh. And the prices were super expensive for the quality of food.

One of the hidden gem

Quality has really gone down hill. Cost of the food has gone way up, but the amount and quality have severely deteriorated. Beer selection is still good, but not worth it if you want to eat.

I used to love going to comedy shows at bitters. Its nice yo have a comedy room with a kitchen. But since I heard they stopped paying the comics and the show went away I haven't gone back. Such a shame.

My first time going the service, food and atmosphere was nice. I'd recommend it to others as the prices are reasonable.

Food is decent, beer is good. Was better before they put the big tv in
