The food is phenomenal. The portions are big, and the taste is spot on, the best Chinese in St. John’s in my opinion. Our waitress was very friendly, however the other waitress in the restaurant is what made us not want to eat there anymore. She was very loud and unprofessional. Will definitely be doing take out only from now on because of her.

This place is somewhat underrated. Out of all the Chinese restaurants around this secluded island, i guarantee that THIS has got to be the best. The quality of the food and the service is exceptionally excellent. I haven't eaten in house here in a minute but its even a little better. If you want Chinese that you can almost be certain the food is safe , fresh and is what it is. Some spots around i really question the meat they use.

Delicious! Some combo dishes are 10%-20% Better Priced here then at most other places in the city! Service is Awesome also. Dated interior but SERIOUSLY Authentic.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants.

Staff are a riot, and the restaurant itself is quiet, with the best Chinese I've ever had

If you finish what you ordered you are a fatty. It’s too much food.
Jokes aside this is my favourite Chinese restaurant in the city now and trust me I have been to more than half the Chinese places around.

The Roses Heritage Inn

Cheap too!

The worst Chinese food in town. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and it was 90% onions. I've had Mongolian beef many times before, but this was a major letdown. Other dishes, like the chicken chow mein, were also undercooked. Definitely won't be going back. See the picture of the item the call it Mongolian beef… it should be Mongolian onion..

We had supper at the restaurant last night. The food and service was exceptional and the four of us agreed that the food was the best we ever had. Hard working staff and great food, we would recommend this restaurant as it is by far the best we ever had.

This place is a hidden gem in St. John’s. The server was polite and very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was fresh, delicious and piping hot!! They also served very generous portions. The best chop suey I have ever had. Will definitely go back.
