We stopped at the small shop they have at Lester's farm today. I was disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and poor food handling practices. Not one of the employees wore gloves to prepare food , as their hands got dirty they simply wiped them in filthy rags that were on the counter or hanging from their pockets. There was no handwashing station, no hairnets ,no separate area to keep raw products away from other prepared foods. One young man collected dirty rags, put them in a bag and continued to work with food without any thought to his dirty hands.

We got Chinched-In in St. aJohn's... Way better NFLD experience than Screeched-In, (so cliché).
Chinched is truly NFLD food, upscale. Chef-made, everything... From Cackers to Vinegar Pie... Sous-vide pork, with warm potato salad. Light and tasty Cod Tongues .. such a delicacy.
Service is friendly and casual like all Islanders.
Don't miss out on the Charcuterie Boards. Local ingredients, uniquely made.

Excellent experience here. Our server went above and beyond to look after us and we had a great yarn in the process - really made a difference.

Had the large charcuterie board which was excellent as always with great variety. Also tried one of the cocktails which was done very well.

Atmosphere was quieter but great for a good yarn with your company.

Will be back again to try some mains !

The meat and cheese plate, the wine selections, and the craft cocktails were amazing, but it was John's service that would bring us back again and again. He was attentive, kind, thoughtful, and so clearly passionate. My husband and I both agreed we have never had better or more personalized service at any restaurant we've been before. 10/10, John! Thank you for the most memorable Anniversary dinner we've ever had. We'll be back! :)

We saw a full house when we walked by and then called in for reservations. Our waiter Shawn was so helpful and attentive it made the experience really top notch. Everything we ate was delicious. The charcuterie was great and not greasy or salty. Our pork belly was deliciously meaty with a perfect crust and flavor. It was the best meal we’ve had in a long time.
