We stopped here while out for a walk, and we were so glad we did. We got the iced caramel macchiato and a date square. It was so delicious. Best date square I've ever had!
Perfect stop for a snack and water before you being hiking to Signal Hill. Staff and friendly.
great food, great people, great place
2 minute walk from the Sheraton Hotel. Great sandwiches (try turkey club) and iced coffees. This is our 3rd trip here in 4 days.
Service was prompt as it was a walk up and order style. Restaurant had plenty of seating options and was bright and comfortable. Coffee wasn’t the best.
Thin filling in sandwich.
Really cute and delicious sandwiches and coffee ☕️ thx
Amazing coffee — even just the house brew was a hit! The Pride rainbow cake was very tasty, but unfortunately it was a bit stale and not fresh. I ordered the avocado toast for breakfast, and it was delicious. Very clean café with a nice dining room in downtown St. John’s.
Friendly staff. Tasty brunch/ lunch options.
Scott and his crew at Coffee Matters are second to none! I recently ordered their box lunch for a work event with 70+ people. We have many folks with dietary restrictions, and not only was everyone accommodated, everything as absolutely delicious. There are options galore, and for catered lunches, it’s definitely the best bang for your buck in town. They also deliver to you, making everything a breeze. I couldn’t recommend their services enough!

I had the turkey, avocado and pesto sandwich which was absolutely delicious. As well with the iced coffee, scones and danishes. 11/10 would definitely recommend. I will be back again!! ☕💗
They open at 8am!! My cappuccino was hot and delicious. The staff is informative and helpful.

If you're looking for lunch, save your money & go somewhere else. Serving size and contents are VERY small. It's a rip off for what you get. Tastes good but very disappointing for the price. To-go cups will have twice as much beverage than their ceramic cups. If you pay $15 for a sandwich or wrap you'd be shocked at how very little food they're willing to put in there & will still be hungry afterwords.

Red eye coffee had the desired kick-in-the-face effect of coffee+espresso!
