Just wanted to take a minute to share my experience(s) at DESI MEAL restaurant. I’ve been eating at Desi Meal on Elizabeth Avenue for over 5 years now. I’ve never ever had a bad experience. It’s always so delicious, fresh, and consistent. When I was diagnosed with celiac disease, I was worried I’d never eat there again but I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that, not only do they have gluten-free options, but it has never made me sick and the owner takes it...

One of my very favorite places in the city! Super accommodating to gluten free and very knowledgeable. The staff are always so kind and welcoming and the food is delicious! Very large portions for the cost which is also a plus!

We’ve enjoyed several meals from these folks, if you like real ethnic foods, this is a great spot to get your fix! The portion size is just right, just enough to satisfy your stomach and keep your interest piqued for the next time!
