Shout out to the Avalon Mall staff. I've been to many Five Guys across Canada and this location is top tier. Special shout out to the older lady who's usually on cash( possible supervisor) who is always smiling , very thankful and very friendly. Keeps me coming back.

Recently we visited the store on a cross country trip. Was looking forward to the excellent double cheeseburger. We have had Five guys many times outside of BL and are a little disappointed. Normally we order a burger each and a regular fry. The burgers were excellent but the portion of fries was just the container no over flow. We thought that maybe this is how the franchise operates in NL. Which we found to be different to any other Five guys we have ever visited. So we had an occasion to go the one on Danny drive down n the area called Galway and they were serving up the 5 guys as we know it to be anywhere else. Healthy portion of fries and great burgers. Hope this feedback helps.

Worst service.waited over 20 minute 4 bacon cheeseburger. Came with no bacon. Try to get fix end up waiting to long. Try to get refund employees makes refund process extreme hassle. Left without burger or my money. I paid for food I never got and never got my money back. Never again will I step foot in there.

Removed green peppers from topping choices and can’t request them on delivery apps. Called store multiple times to ask if they could be added and never got anyone to answer the phone. For $20+ a burger you’d think you could have all the choices available.
They made a mistake and we didn't notice until we had driven away and couldn't return right away. Remade the burger no questions asked once we came back a few hours later. Great service and great fast food

Tried for the first time after hearing mixed reviews, and it is expensive and mid at best. My burger was a mess, falling apart, and had pickles when I didn’t ask for them. Also tried the Cajun fries and they were very salty and soggy, not my style of fries (I prefer crispy fries). The location is also extremely loud, a lot of yelling and loud music, so we decided to eat elsewhere. If you’re okay with paying for an overpriced mid burger, this is the place for you.

An interesting take on custom assembly line fast food! The stock being stacked up in the main dining area is a cool concept! They offer a big variety on the menu and are very quick to assemble your order. Prices are on the high end for what it is. A refreshing change from the mainstream market.
