My new favourite local spot. The food is always phenomenal. Many delicious options made with quality ingredients.

We had lunch there today, the Kway Teow was excellent. The last time I had Kway Teow so good was in Sarawak, Malaysia. We will definitely return.

Love the pad Thai here! Scallop was super tiny (like a quarter coin), not worth 20+ bucks. And seafood chowder was very thin, and the main ingredient is carrots.

This restaurant has a perfect harbour view with this scenery perfect for our coastal themed wedding. Not just that this place represents the beauty of Newfoundland. The bar inside is so classy and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the chicken cordon bleu, roast beef, the spring rolls and the very tasty fried rice, etc. Oh wow must try and our guests who had the Chef’s green salad said it was some good were all delicious! We had 50 guest buffet style set up. All were served hot and we got a lot of compliments on the food. The drinks were incredible and the bar service was fast. Everyone was so professional, accommodating, easy to work with, and great at their jobs. Finally, our wedding wouldn’t have come together without the hard work from the Gian’s Kitchen especially to the owners Kuya Nato and Ate Angellete. Thank you Gian’s Kitchen our wedding was perfect! 🙂

Ate here 4 times in the week I was in town. Two breakfasts that were ok - good, then 1 night a bowl of chowder that was same. Then I invited friends to supper and a lot of restaurants were closed for holiday. So the 4 of us ate here 2 of us ordered the ribeye(med) with baked potatoe. The 8 oz steak was cut VERY thin and ended up being well done. The fried vegetables were good but the potato was really bad, it tasted like it was cooked a while back then reheated, 1 bite was all we did....

Surprisingly delicious and high-quality! I usually expect hotel breakfasts to be fairly straightforward but our meals were both amazing. The touton breakfast sandwich is a must-try if you're looking for something regional-ish and the hash browns were unreal. Bacon on the benny and breakfast sandwich was so good. Excellent and attentive service. Nice view of the harbour. Definite hidden gem!

Fantastic food, great location and good service. The location is also very central and the view over the harbor is wonderful. A quiet atmosphere and few guests are a bonus on top!

Delicious food. Friendly staff. The toutons were fluffy and the fish cakes were crispy.

First time patron; so glad I came! Firstly, the atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable. The view is absolutely stunning! Our server was very attentive and friendly; I felt that she really meant what she was saying; no pretending here! The food was absolutely top notch! The eggs benedict was done perfectly; the skillet was devoured by my wife (definitely an indication of how good it was); and the touton sandwich was divine! The unexpected crunch of the touton and that "umami" flavor was sooooo satisfying! And, the price is quite reasonable versus similar places. Absolutely worth a visit!

Back again (July 15/24). Myself and my son had the touton breakfast sandwich, and........it was even better than the last time! Hands down one of the best sandwiches that I have ever eaten!! Please keep it on the menu; I'll be back on a regular basis for this alone! The server was so easy to chat with and very attentive. Again, definitely worth a visit!
