Very cute spot that feels plucked right out of the 1990s. Glad to see that this kinda place can still survive in today’s climate even if only by nostalgia. The service was friendly and the food was solid for what it was, classic pub food with a bit of a Tex-Mex twist. Not a Newfoundlander by birth so can speak on this without being influenced by childhood memories, the place isn’t exactly fine dining but it’s more than solid for what it is!
Just today I visited here. Nice , tidy , clean atmosphere at around 11:30 AM
Greeted and seated efficiently, menus provided and beverages ordered. Very polite , friendly and courteous server took our order , brought it to us in good time and checked back appropriately to see how all was.
I had to remark how clean , spotless the washroom was. It actually smelled good too.
On leaving , we were thanked for visiting by the male server and the female lady...

I wanted some nostalgia since I was back in St. John's after 12 years, so Jungle Jim's was perfect!
I got seated right away and Josh, my server, was really great.
