Complete disappoint! We ordered for pick up a 90 dollar order and honestly I have never felt so ripped off!! 2 thumbs down. Took a hour to bring out to us. Not a soul in the park lot. The dinner for 4 was honestly enough fir 1. Very poor quality. We definitely will not be back! I thought as a business owner myself. How can you feel good about sending this out to a family. Brutal! Save your money.

I have read the comments. Yes it's older but beautifully maintained. Very clean. Will lit in a romantic/subdued way. Very friendly staff.I would recommend for a family dinner, party or just by your self.Food was good.

The day before NYE we decided on take-out from the Kenmount. We were very lucky that they accommodated us at such late notice. We dicussed whith the staff when would be best and thya indicatied early afternoon. Around 4 we got a call saying our oder was ready. We have an early dinner anyway so this was very satisfactory. All our dishes were very good and we were very satisfied with the service and food.

We got into St.Johns later than expected and came across this wonderful place. Service was friendly and fast. The food was outstanding. Would totally go back.

The decor is dated and there are never many customers there when I visit but the food is the best Chinese food available anywhere ... and I mean anywhere in North America. I’m referring to Americanized Chinese food that we are accustomed to. Try the chicken balls, yang chow fried rice, chicken chow mein,wings of heaven, and egg rolls and enjoy. Better hurry though because I suspect the owner will be retired soon and the restaurant will be closed.

the worst chinese food ever! the price is a total rip off...canned mushrooms...2 slices of beef in the brocoli and beef plate for 4 persons....3 tiny chicken pieces in the 4 serving padthai....frozen wong tong.....dry and tasteless eggrolls.....4 servings take out cost about 100$ could have get better food at the dollar store...dont waste your money in this scam restaurant!!!
Place is dated but the food is amazing especially if you order from the authentic Chinese section of the menu

I love the old layout and the building has a cool design.I dont know why people are complaining so much. Why would you go to a restaurant just for the wallpaper?You should go there for the food.I had the Yang Chow Fried Rice and I enjoyed it.Its just too bad im broke because theres so many other dishes there that sound yummy and I dont have the money to afford to go there often but the food is well worth the price.We dont see a lot of fancy old school Chinese restaurants like this anymore.I think its cool.If its not busy there like how it used to be then thats because there's a Buffet across the street. DUHHH!So its not because the restaurant is bad , its a very good restaurant but people who are cheapskates rather pay $20 at a buffet to eat cheap quality buffet food with very little taste in the meats that isnt always fresh instead of spending a little extra money to go to a traditional Chinese diner and order freshly yummy well cooked served Chinese dishes made with better quality.
