I have been to Magnum and Steins many times and have never been disappointed. The food and service usually excellent. It was a little chilly where we were seated this time and a little dark, could have used two of those little lights at that booth.
My birthday celebration was awesome, with both the food and service being outstanding! It was our first visit to Magnum and Steins but it certainly won't be our last!
Lovely place, very quaint. Service was friendly and fast. Drinks were always replenished without having to ask and the food arrived shortly after ordering. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Sitting at the bar, we could watch the drink making skills as the staff buzzed about doing their thing. Awesome evening and we'll definitely be returning 😊
Magna Steins had great service. The restaurant was very cold. I've been there a couple of times and on each occasion I had to wear my jacket quite chilly in there as well as other customers, no ambiance for a Christmas decor, disappointed
Noah was a rockstar. He is an excellent representative of your values and professional delivery of super food and drinks. He was prompt, attentive and compassionate. He knew his job well. Made for a nice anniversary. Will be back of course.
Food was very good, but ordered & paid for a dessert to go, but after waiting more than half an hour for the dessert to be made, had to leave without our dessert.☹️

Took 2 hours to get main meal while all around us were served in reasonable time. Food was very poor, very salty, very disappointed for the price paid. We have had great dining experiences at this restaurant but this experience was poor.
Much improved since last time we went, and it was good then. Best Halibut I ever had, and the phyllo desert was fantastic too. Also service was fantastic.
Main courses were as expected, rack of lamb and beef tenderloin, both very tasty, except for tenderloin not cooked as required. (Waitress didn't come and check if it was ok until late) Appetizers: Fish soup, a very nice serving, but broth a bit bland, couldn't say there was white wine in it. Still nice. Extremely disappointing were the four small scallops, by themselves, no garnish, nothing outstanding but very pricey! Wouldn't recommend.
We had an amazing time at Magnum and Steins. Our server was very friendly and informative about the menu and dietary restrictions available. We had the espresso martinis which were delicious and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

The receptionist was rude and acted like we were below her. She barely acknowledged us. However, the gentlemen that noticed this and brought us to our party was wonderful! He went above and beyond and really made a great impression on us. He checked in on us often even though he wasn't our waiter. Thank you!
Great happy hour food and drinks. Prices are good. Service was excellent -just a great spot for a Friday afternoon TGIF.
Went here for my birthday yesterday.. got the rib rack, rib shank, seafood soup which was a special, beef tartar (the crackers were really stale) and nacho duck confit. Everything was okay, the seafood soup was the best thing. The server was very rough around the edges.
Not terrible but definitely not for special occasions. My mom said it was my birthday and they just k… not even happy birthday back… rough around the edges for the 250 we spent for two people..

The service was wonderful. That being said, the food was very mediocre, they did not have any duck available (the thing that we went for), and their card machine kept timing out and locked my credit card to the point that it no longer works at all. Still waiting to get it replaced. If you want to keep working cards, don’t pay with one here.

Girls night out was fabulous! This is one of our favourite spots- we like to go to the downstairs bar as we can be very chatty and Wouldn't want to ruin the calm ambiance upstairs in the dining room. Service was awesome and the food was excellent as usual! Although the seafood soup was amazing, we did send it back for being sure spice... our waiter was on it right away and we had a replacement within minutes. We'll be back for the fun cocktails, vast wine list, duck nachos and yummy grub!
