The Owner is an absolutely angel. Incredible kind and welcoming. The pinapple ginger juice is my new favorite drink!
I tried Mama Africa in the food court after eyeing it for a couple visits to the Village Mall and I am so glad I did!
I had one of their signature burgers and it was delicious, the olive sauce complimented the burger perfectly. Definitely the best burger that I have tasted, as someone who does not normally go for a burger!
The service was also lovely and the lady at the counter is very helpful and kind, you can really see how passionate she is about the food there.
So I tried Mama Africa today for the first time. Right off the bat I have to commend the service I received. The man at the counter took the time to go over the menus with me and explain what everything was and what he recommended us to try and we settled on the Chicken Yassa.
The food was absolutely fantastic, so much flavor. Before we left we bought the Motherland Chicken Sandwich and a Merguez Sandwich to take home.

Mama Africa Restaurant offers very delicious food at a great price, complemented by really friendly staff. Highly recommended dishes include the Mafé, which is beef in a fantastic savory peanut sauce over rice, and the Chicken Yassa, featuring lots of sautéed onions and a delicious smoky taste. The marinated chicken in their dishes is exceptional, and the fresh Baobab Juice is a must-try. They have a huge selection of spices, groceries, and even skincare items. The food is halal, and the hot pepper sauce is addictive. This restaurant has become a favorite for many, including families with young children.
Another standout is the Merguez sandwich, which offers a spectacular combination of baguette, sauce, vegetables, and sausage. The Rasta Flame burger is also noted for being juicy and delicious, with amazing sauce and fresh ingredients. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain menu items and address allergies. Pricing is reasonable, making Mama Africa a great choice for a satisfying meal, and it has quickly become a go-to spot for many visitors.
