Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for two simple steaks!! Waitress paid no attention and couldn’t even remember to bring us a glass of ice or ask if I wanted another beer. And then had the nerve to say their steaks were frozen. We watched several tables around us get their food after coming in 30 minutes or more after we got there!! Never again will we eat or try to eat at a Moxies. Our meal would have been well over $100!! Absolutely horrible experience!!
Follow up. 40 minutes later. We went across the road to Boston Pizza. And we’re seated, ordered, served and on our way in 35 minutes with a fantastic meal. And their steak wasn’t frozen. And 45 minutes later I’m writing this update.
As I said above, Never Again!! Moxies lost two really good customers. I very seldom write a review, but our experience was so bad I had to share.

Steak was cooked properly, however no flavour whatsoever. Carrots half cooked, the mashed potatoes were great. Service was great.
Our waiter Chris Dyer was excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable as well as efficient. Great meal and great service
We had a great experience! The patio had a lovely atmosphere, and our waiter Kody was both courteous and funny! Will definitely come again.

If it was possible I would give this place NEGATIVE stars. Back in November 2025, my dad, my brother and I, went to moxies for lunch. It didn’t seem to be busy so we figured it would be a good idea. We ordered and then we began waiting. And waiting. and waiting. My brother then asks our server if we can pay for our bill before we get our food so that when we’re done eating we can quickly leave because we were in a rush (considering we had already been there an hour) to get back to my mother who was in the ICU. 45 minutes later he brings the debit machine for us to pay. We still don’t have our food so we ask our server if we can get it to go as we are running out of time. About 30-40 minutes ( we’re now over 2 hours) they bring out our food in to go bags (which was cold btw). The manager also came out and gave us each a gift card and stated “the next meal is on us!” And apologized for our experience. I thought “what a nice gesture”. I’ve worked in a restaurant and I know how it goes sometimes.
Well. Fast forward to a few months later. My boyfriend and I decided we would go for supper. We decided to go to moxies to use the gift cards as my brother and dad had given me there’s as well. So I asked our server to check the balance on the gift cards and she comes back to tell us they were never activated.
I will never give a cent of my hard earned money back to this restaurant.

We love Moxie's but the steak was very underwhelming and thus lower rating than I would usually give it. Also, not many kid friendly drinks available other than juices and milk. When the parents are having something exciting, the kids want drinks that look exciting too.
Always enjoy our quarterly catch up suppers at Moxies! Service is exceptional! Looking forward to our next catch up!
Family dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and my wife's meal (Salmon with no sauce) came out wrong twice. They finally got it right 25 min after everyone else had their meals. The servers came to our table 2 times with meals for other table. We asked for desert menus and the waiter forgot to bring them. Overall, very poor experience from start to finish.
Lively atmosphere, excellent food. Could view the hard work and efficiency of the very professional kitchen team. Definitely recommend.
Drinks ordered but instead of telling us that they did not have all the ingredients they provided something similar and when we questioned this they admitted they did not have everything and just gave us this instead. Very poor service. Also appears that they are understaffed as we waited very long to get served, long times for dinner to arrive, long time for plate clearing (thus we did not order dessert) and a long time to pay. Service here overall has dropped dramatically and we may never return...shame as the food was excellent.
