Staff was welcoming and friendly. The Jollof was fragrant and flavorful with a nice spice, perfectly tender. Large portion with a huge chicken leg for a good price. The sauce the chicken was topped with was much spicier than the rice, but I enjoyed it. The meat pie was also delicious. I really liked the filling
My only complaint is how difficult it is to find a complete menu. Each 3rd party app seems to have a slightly different one, and there was none to view in the store (despite a menu board being briefly visible in a video on their IG). It was my first time trying African food and, because of this, I defaulted to something I was vaguely familiar with because I didn't want to ask a ton of questions.
I think they need to make a straightforward menu easier to find, it may help attract more newcomers who aren't as familiar with the food. Despite this, the service and food were great and I'll be returning in the future!

They just served a piece with the raw skin full of hair in it. First of all they didn’t care to check the piece before cooking and secondly they didn’t even hesitate to serve a piece like that. I bought 2 beef jolof rice. Paid 40 bucks and they served barely two small beef pieces of the beef which I wouldn’t mind. But discovering something like this while eating grossed us out. Literally zero effort for food hygiene. Very very disappointing. Never going back again. Would never recommend anyone as well.

Your jollof rice tastes just like party rice, and I love your Amala—it's a great dish! The management is exceptional, and the afrobeat music creates a vibrant atmosphere every time I visit. Jinloong used to be a great local spot that I’d frequent since it’s not too far from me. Ever since Wandebo kitchen partnered with them/took over, the service has went completely down hill. I’ve called so many times for no one to answer to place an order. My finace walked down there one night to place an order in person since they wouldn’t answer the phone. He waited there 10 minutes for no one to take his order and the phone was constantly ringing but no one was picking it up. Needless to say he walked out. I finally placed an order through door dash but sadly it took over 2 hours for it to arrive. What happened? Unfortunately because of this service and by how I see the owner react to similar criticism, I don’t think I can support either restaurant.

Our visit to MY FOOD BY WANDEBO was confusing and disappointing. It’s advertised as an African restaurant, but it also operates as JIN Dragon Restaurant, a Chinese eatery. The mixed branding—Wandebo logo on the door and JIN Dragon logo on the building—was confusing and hurt the brand’s identity.
Customer service was a letdown. We were given a Chinese menu without a greeting or asking what we wanted, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. After a long day at work, we expected a pleasant experience but instead felt ignored.
The loud music made it hard to talk, adding to the discomfort. For a better experience, they should clarify their branding, improve staff training, and create a more inviting atmosphere.
We left without trying the food, hoping they’ll make improvements for future customers.

Entered establishment, asked for guidance, and was given a menu for a different restaurant. Music was louder than talking volume and there was no staff interested enough to help. The sign was posted on the door but it felt like I went to the wrong place. Dissapointed because I was thoroughly interested in trying their food. ; Edit: The owner’s responses, the real ones, to reviews are not only unprofessional but also filled with contempt and, at times, borderline discriminatory remarks. To assume a customer would enter the establishment with the sole intent of writing a bad review is a mindset beyond me. The behavior portrayed by the Owner is very concerning. I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment.
