Amazing hot chocolate; so thick and rich that it made my trip! Came back for more hot chocolate and bring home their puffin eggs chocolate, honey comb milk chocolate toffee and hot chocolate mix for souvenirs! Super friendly and kind service.

Its the good cafe stop once you are up top Signal hill. They have delicious cocoa drinks, cakes, gelato and choco bars in the air C room with tables. Very cute place and nice atmosphere

I've been hearing about Newfoundland Chocolate Company since 2016 when my husband and middle son visited. Being from the States, online ordering is cost prohibitive, so I was pretty excited about having a first-hand experience. This is THE BEST hot chocolate in the world!

Such a wonderful surprise to find this fantastic cafe after the hike up the hill! They had a nice range of sweet and savoury snacks but when I saw there was a hot chocolate menu I had to go for that. I chose the first one from the list I think and it was utterly delicious, one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had in my life! Super rich and decadent without being sickly and the price was very reasonable for the quality too. Plus the staff were really lovely.

a nice cafe for some good drinks next to Signal Hill.

their frozen mocha is lovely - vibrant chocolate flavour, good espresso, and a uniform texture throughout the drink. it was light, refreshing & fast. they give some chips alongside grilled sandwiches, and feature a selection of different hot chocolate flavours, with their own designated menu section.

the "tourist tax" is real. items here are priced a notable amount higher than average, and while the coffee is good, the sandwiches are only okay; despite using plain white bread, lacking texture & being stored in a refrigerator at the counter, they are $10 to $13 each, depending on contents.

atmosphere is lacking due to the corner it is tucked in, and the number of tourists who frequent the gelato spot and museum housed in the same building, generating a lot of volume.

Parking: small parking lot next to the building. semi-packed on weekends, assumedly fine otherwise.

Multiple types of hot chocolate. Choice of regular, almost, or oat milk. Boxes of chocolates and various deserts. It was a good surprise find.

I am not happy with their service at all. I paid for some souvenirs that costed $56 and then found out they offer a 10% discounts for CAA membership. They didn’t even ask if I was a CAA member at checkout. They refused to refund me and redo the transaction because they apparently can’t reverse transactions which I find absolutely impossible for any shops. Be aware that if you ever do go eat or shop there, if your food turn out to be bad or you’re allergic to something, you will not get your money back. I am extremely disappointed to the point I don’t want the items at all whatsoever.
