It’s hard to find a modern donut shop in Canada that offers a tasty yeast donut. They usually end up stale, not very tasty or overly complicated. NFDC is different. Simple donuts with a bit of a twist, the pastry is sweet, soft, moist with that satisfying resistance we all love about a good yeast donut. If they weren’t such a commute for me, I’d come here often.
I had bought a couple of donuts yesterday, Sunday, December 14th, 2025, the flavors being Boston cream and blueberry filled. The first time trying the blueberry filled and it was delicious and FILLED with deliciousblueberryfilling!!! It should be on the regular menu.
The Boston cream was a donut that I buy regularly. But when I opened the box, it didn't look like the Boston creams that I normally bought. The glazed was definitely NOT chocolate, it was sooo sweet that I could not eat it. I had to pick the glaze off. Did you change your recipe for the chocolate glaze??
As for the filling.....where's the filling? Did you guys run out?? The donut is normally filled full with the cream, but this time there was very little cream leaving over three quarters of the donut unfilled. I don't know what kind of donut that I had but it didn't

Used to love this donut shop but sadly I think this will be my last time going back. Quality and flavours have gone down hill. The first donut I ever tried from there was a chocolate dip and I was hooked. Mind you, I hated donuts up until that point. Unfortunately, this time when I got the donuts, they looked and tasted nothing like how they usually do. I called the donut shop and let them know that the quality wasn’t the same and they told me I could exchange two of them (6 were affected) and they told me that nothing has changed. I was kind of surprised that they said that. I figured they would at least own up to the change but if they have no problem lying to their customers, I will not be supporting that. You can say you never changed the recipe but these pictures don’t lie.

Tasty donuts but go early if you want to get a dozen or variety. Went in at 1pm and they only had a few donuts left. For coffee they only do Americano, no cappuccinos or lattes etc. 6 donuts was $28
Great doughnuts and with creative flavors. They don’t open until 10 am. Super cute exterior and Interior.

We were walking past this shop and a stranger told us about how excited she was to try her donut and that this place around the corner sells out every day. Obviously we had to rush there to try. The exterior and interior of the building are nothing special, but the donuts are! Wow! Possibly the best donuts we've ever had. A cool hidden gem right by the Jellybean Houses. Worth a visit! We got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Donut and it was perfect.

My daughter and I went in there today and we were so impressed with the man behind the counter. Very polite and obviously believes in and loves the products he is selling. He explained each flavour and the options for purchasing and it was a pleasant and easy experience. For the donuts, we purchased 6 and I’m not ashamed to say that I ate almost 3 of them myself 🫣🤣. My daughter had the birthday cake. The pina colada was amazing. The flavours were so good. The Boston cream was divine and stuffed with filling. The caramel cheesecake was delicious as well *chefs kiss* on all fronts. Hubby and son had the basic chocolate dipped and even hours later and being in the fridge, they were still soft and delicious. Will recommend and return

Travelled to St. John’s and ordered a 6 pack. Donuts were stale and very oily. Have had better in different provinces.

Longtime and frequent patrons of this business that will not be returning.
Second weekend in a row we have been sold RAW DOUGHnuts.
Brought the product back today (last weekend, we thought maybe just an off day) only to be offered a replacement, no offer to be compensated for the uncooked garbage products we overpaid for on May 17. We were given a $10 gift card. This barely covers the cost of 1.5 donuts.
Considering last weekend’s unfit products, and again today, this is unacceptable way to conduct business, as it is a food safety issue.
At the egregious price of almost $40 for 6 doughnuts, I expect much better product, and service.
