I visited NJ's Kitchen for iftar today. I called them around 4 pm to make a reservation and place my order for iftar. Upon arrival at 7 pm, the server informed me that no order had been placed with the reservation, despite my phone records showing a 4-minute conversation. Eventually, the server said he will prepare our food, but it took an additional 10 minutes past iftar time. While the food was satisfactory, the issues persisted. The bill showed an overcharge of $18, which I promptly brought to the server's attention. Instead of providing a refund, he requested my email to transfer the money via Interac. Despite waiting 20 minutes at a nearby store, the promised refund did not arrive. I returned to the restaurant and reminded the server, who then sent the money. As a regular customer, I found the overall service to be highly unprofessional leaving me dissatisfied with my experience.

Fantastic food. Very flavourful with lots of variety. Great spices and not HOT unless you request it that was.It was a little chilly inside so bring a sweater but the owner and service is very warm and welcoming.

Last evening we ordered veg biriyani but got another thing. Then my friend called them and gave a complaint about this. They told us to re order and this time they will give the original purchased meal. But this time they sent the same dish that we got before! Very disappointed!!

These guys don’t know how to run a restaurant! Avoid goingI was such a loyal and valuable customer of them but they don’t care. I ordered the vegetable Biryani from them but they sent me some kichri so i reported them to door dash and got 5$ credit but i paid 25 for it so i called them and told them the issue and they told me to order a samosa or a naan and theyll send me the correct biryani in that order but when my order came it was just the naan piece. I called them and they said that you reported us thats why we didn’t send you the biryani . So basically i paid again for nothing! The guy i talked to said hold for sometime but never responding back!Such disrespectful and Rude Behaviour from the Restaurant staff and the Owner! Cant believe it used to be my favourite place to eat in town!They went all bizarre because they thought i amSome other guys just trying to get refund or Free Food!
I ordered the beef keema through skip the dishes. There was less than one table spoon of beef. I understand everything is costly. However, This is ridiculous . It tasted good but all i could have was the jhol(curry)

The owner brought her husband screaming and pointing at my friend claiming that we left a negative review for their store. So what are they gonna do now, beat us up? The husband was at least more respectful than the wife. Even after my friend said multiple times that he did not leave the review they kept insisting that he did and it was really nasty. The owners have no respect for customers, how will the servers do? I don't go to this shop to get pointed at, I eat with my own money not theirs. They have lack of respect for people and things certainly could have been better if they showed respect. Their food isn't even worth the price, everything is overpriced and they can't cook well also. I hate writing this review as they are my own people but they deserve it and they won't be seeing us anymore.
