Could not get a table for two…even though tables remained empty the entire two hours we stood at the bar. Lucky they had great live entertainment!

visiting from Ontario with my daughter. loved the Irish music. we were screeched in. the service was fairly quick as the bar was very busy. the doormen/lady were cordial and happy. bathrooms downstairs were very clean. there was a dance floor so we kicked up our heels to a few songs. it was a great evening all round. thank-you

Ate in their outdoor seating area, and it was such a nice atmosphere. Our server forgot to put our order through to the kitchen, but was upfront and apologetic. The food was delicious and fresh. It was just 2 of us and we could barely get through the order of nachos.

We stopped in here a a cold pint of Guinness as we roamed the streets of St, John's, Newfoundland on part of our 3 month tour of wonderful Canada last spring. It was quiet, our server friendly and attentive. Aagh, that tasted good, now back on the streets we go. Cheers!

OK... this one is for the rooftop only. As the upper decks go this one is pretty good. The staff are fun and on the ball. Good selection of beers and the food is served quickly. I have always thought the food at this pub was pretty good and what comes to the roof does not disappoint. You get the full afternoon sun, but there are shaded areas if one prefers. I would give this one a try.

Great atmosphere, fantastic live music. Food is delicious, definitely try the cod bites and deluxe burger. Finish it off with cheesecake, didn't expect a pub to have this good blueberry cheesecake! If you're looking for restaurants on George Street, definitely go to this one.

This is a great pub with outstanding live music in the core of St John's. The beer battered fish n chips was delicious worth getting again. The chowder didn't have much flavour & tasted more like a potato soup with shrimp in it. I'd pass on the chowder. Decent spot, I'll be back.
