Ojimba our server was a true gentleman. The food was exquisite. Such all around care by the team led to a wonderful night. This was our second time there and it was enough to seal the deal! Oliver’s has officially become our go to spot!

I ate with my daughter at Oliver's recently.
I hadn't eaten there for quite some time.
The service and food was just as good as I remembered it.

From being greeted so nicely to the absolutely amazing food. Great experience. Both of our meals were incredible, great portion size and so fresh. Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly. Welcomed us so nicely. We enjoyed it so much we may have it at least one more time on our trip.

Amazing gluten free food, beautiful atmosphere and the nicest server ever - Danielle! Came here on our last night in St. John’s on our honeymoon trip and it did not disappoint. Reservations are a must so you don’t miss out on this little gem.

Food was amazing, generous portions, our server was very friendly, nice atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
Haven’t been to this restaurant in years, but glad we did. Went with friends, atmosphere was great and our server was very attentive. Friends had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken fettuccine and it was delicious. I had the seafood platter and it too was delicious except I don’t get why they put the fries on it, seemed out of place. Would have been better with some nice rice or couscous. Overall it was a great evening and would definitely return.

Restaurantji Recommends
We ate here on a recent trip to St John’s. A small restaurant with a great vibe. Enjoyed some good cocktails and the almond baked goat cheese was delicious and a big portion. Both of our mains were delicious. We both had halibut with risotto…my wife ordered off the main menu and I had the special and both were fantastic. Our server, Rachael, was attentive, knowledgeable and gave us a great dining experience. Highly recommend Oliver’s and will be a regular stop when we are in St John’s

Asked for a table, server talked to another server who said “say none are available, we will make more from 2 people not 1”, this is not the kind of hospitality I expect in Newfoundland, I will never recommend Oliver’s to anyone and will go out of my way to tell others, unacceptable.

Quant restaurant, simple casual. Our server Rachel was so sweet & pleasant. She recommended the duck wings for appetizers. They were delicious! Our meals, steak& potato crusted cod, very tasty roasted carrots perfect also the other trimmings. It wasn’t loud just the right amount of tables made the atmosphere relaxing. Robin was the other server who stepped in when Rachel was busy, making sure we were enjoying our dinner. She was just as sweet. Thank you girls for your happy pleasant personality, Oliver’s restaurant are very fortunate to have you both.
