Great selection of drinks and lovely food
Decent beer. Very slow service. Fish and chips was likely the worst I have ever eaten. Small portion of dried yellow cod, with overcooked batter. The fries were dehydrated crunchy and severely oversalted.
Great selection of beers for every discerning taste. Excellent pub atmosphere. Great service. A must see destination when in St. Johns.
A cautionary tale… a tourist trap. Had the fish and chips and the seafood chowder. The fish was ok, the chips… terrible. Overcooked. The chowder came in what can only be described as a finger bowl. For the price ($14.99) it was a rip off! Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
Great beer, decent service.
Really nice place (not too much of an insider thing anymore though).
Beautiful scenery, great beer, good food (could be faster) and for those who like it: a gift shop with shirts, glasses and hoodies 😉
The fish and chips was the worst I've ever eaten! Yellow dried cod with burnt batter and dried-up salty fries. So hungry and so disappointed.
Fantastic Gluten-Free-Friendly Spot with Stunning Views!
Quidi Vidi Brewery was an absolute gem for gluten-free dining. I was so impressed with how well they accommodated dietary restrictions—something that can be tough to find at breweries.
I had their burger, and the gluten-free bun was unbelievable—soft, fresh, and held up perfectly. They also offered a local gluten-free beer (from Port Rexton Brewing) that paired beautifully with the meal, and gf seafood chowder and nachos
The setting is just incredible—right on the water with a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, this place is a must-visit for great food, local beer, and scenic vibes. Highly recommend!
Great place! Definitely a destination.
Good food, good brew's, great service. Unbeatable atmosphere.

Went in late Sept. wonderfull place. great food and service
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Only this dish could be a bit larger portion. It’s $12.99 for two fish cakes.
Ordered merchandise online for pick-up on a day they were open, but they changed their hours that day without communicating. Now I've been unable to pick up the merchandise but fully charged, and no one from the brewery is responding to Inquiry. I have had to dispute the charges through my credit card company to avoid losing the money. Avoid at all costs.
Stopped in to meet up with a friend. We had just grabbed a spot by the bar.
The selection was great. Lots of different brews to pick from. Our servers Vic, Sarah H, Sarah D, and Sujay were bang on for their knowledge of each beer they had and all of them took turns serving us. It was really nice.
I had ordered the Nachos with beef. The people who prepared it were Rico and Christian. It was massive. I had to bring the rest home.
There was a trivia tournament going on and it was fun to participate. Definitely coming back every time I’m in Newfoundland.
And while there try to spot the Star Wars Stormtrooper lol
Magnificent experience. Lovely place.
