I regret to say that my recent experience at was marred by deeply troubling behavior. Despite the promising menu and cozy ambiance, it became evident that the staff engaged in racial profiling. Non-Caucasian customers, including myself, were treated with suspicion and discomfort, while others received preferential treatment. Such discriminatory practices have no place in any establishment.

Poor service, great view and atmosphere for beers as it’s a brewery. Food is average at best, limited menu. Ordered drinks and server came back 20 mins later to take drink order, she forgot!!. Finally got drink after 35mins, it wasn’t busy, ordered soup, got wrong one. Another 20 mins gone by, no lunch, ordered another drink and it never came. Went to bar to get bill and manager didn’t know how to use the screen to print receipt!! Left with no lunch or refill, told server and manager of my concern to hear them say sorry, obviously no accountability on performance of staff there

The atmosphere here was great. Beautiful area of the city, although a little tricky to get down there (very narrow roads, super limited parking— and if you do get a spot, be prepared to walk a little distance). Service was okay. Wait time was reasonable. The food, however, was not good and overpriced, unfortunately. I had the turkey panini— which I would describe as bland and slimy but somehow dry. Very limited menu options. We saw another patron with a hamburger after we had ordered, but that item wasn't listed on the menu? It was the worst meal I've had in a while. This is a place I would recommend to come for drinks and vibes only.

Wicked experience! Took a relative visiting us and the food was fantastic! Great beer selection. I'm a fan of their sours and the lemon custard was amazing. The fish and chips is a must! So fresh and that batter is deadly. Can't beat the view of the wharf and the service was exceptional. Live entertainment and an overall great Newfoundland vibe!

The musicians are wonderful? The service is bad! The tables are dirty and sticky, as is the floor. The view of the beautiful quidi vidi is wonderful. I think this place is popular only because of the location and music.

The establishment is not of the best level, the view is super, but the service is very poor, the waitresses stand and see if they will leave a tip, it is very dirty, the food is served in cardboard dishes, the beer tastes like ethylene, the prices are very high, and the bill has not yet been calculated correctly

Hidden gem!Amazing brewery just outside of downtown St John's.I got a flight of beer so I was able to try few beers and they were all really tasty. For food, I got the soup of the day which was just what I needed on a cold winter day.The service was amazing. The server had an upbeat attitude, a great knowledge of the beer & food menu as well as what to do and see in St John's.And not to mention the gorgeous view you get when you sit by the window or on the patio on a summer day.

Visited the brewery in August 2023 and had a great experience. The views were stunning, perfect little hide-away spot and the flights were delicious! Would definitely recommend making the trip to Quidi Vidi, we came all the way from Sask.
Love the beer and the view. Friends had the fish and chips and loved it, I'm vegetarian so there wasn't so much choice for me but that was ok as I wasn't expecting much. The only downside of this place is its accessibility - there is one set of stairs up to the tap room and they are very steep and narrow. I tried to find out about the accessibility in advance but couldn't find any info online. It would have been disappointing if any of us were any less mobile as there would have been no way up to the bar.

Food is prepared in an old greasy food trailer that is connected to the building.Then the food is brought either through the building where they are washing bottles and bottling beer up through the building, or the food is brought outside and up around the exterior steps. Stale beer that taste like it wasn't bottled correctly, one of the employees even said the beer cans that leak are saved and served to the public!

This place is great. Many unique beer options. Came on a Saturday and a local band was playing, makes the entire place lively. Staff was friendly and overall the atmosphere was comforting.
