Incredibly rude employee at the counter. Myself and my friend (who is from India) lined up to get our orders taken. She ignored us, and took multiple orders from people behind us. I politely said, "we haven't had our order taken yet" assuming she thought that we did, and she snapped, "YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT YOUR TURN!!!" The man behind me even told me he couldn't believe what he was seeing from the employee. With that, my friend and I left. I've never had worse service in my life.

First time eating here, the food was delicious, the service was great, friendly efficient staff, served by Kate she was great. While the place is dated it kind of gives it a nice retro feel that gives it some charm 🙂(dressing was the best)

Worse meal ever. The shrimp was dry and rubbery no idea what the fish was. First time to NFLD and people told that it a great place for fish and chips. Boy were they ever wrong.

I have no idea what's going on here but it was my favorite place to eat for 20+ years. However, the last two visits have been awful, specifically tonight's visit. The burger tasted like the meat was spoiled. I didn't finish it out of fear of getting sick. The smell and taste on the meat was putrid. We won't be coming back anymore.

Ordered a one piece fish and chips and a two piece fish and chips on May 16 for take out. Both had dressing and gravy and the bill was just over $41. Fish was dry and servings were small. Haven’t eaten at Scampers in years and now I remembered why.
Fries are to fat they cant cook them all the way just taste like eating bland potatoes... Server just wanted to take my order and give me my food and be done with me like they didn't want me there
