Never once checked on our table (January 3rd, 12 - 2 pm) to see if we needed water refill or anything else.

SCAM: I eat at Sun Sushi on Torbay about 2-4 times a week. I typically do all you can eat on Sunday for lunch and eat regular menu lunch or dinner a few times a week. When I order nigiri on the all you can eat menu they about double the rice and half the fish, which I understand they do for their profit margins. However this past weekend they wanted to charge me for “left over” sushi rice. There was so much rice on my last order that I couldn’t even taste the fish so I removed about 1/2 of it for 3 THREE pieces. I am not a big eater. I ordered significantly less than anyone who does all you can eat. All my plates were empty. They waiter said she would need to charge me and I asked for a manager. When the manager came she said she wouldn’t charge me “this time” to which I asked how much they would charge, to which she replied 4-6 dollars. An order of rice is 2 dollars in the menu?! Absolute terrible way to treat a regular.

The staff, the food, and the atmosphere was great. The sushi and tempura was delicious. I ordered the combo box which was nice, but next time I'll choose to order from the more sushi based menu. The service and food was really fast.

I will say, I wish they had tea and coffee options. There's no coffee served, and only one selection of tea with no sweeteners. I was offered lemon which was appreciated.

The service here was nothing compared to the other locations. Very slow and almost 40 minutes between orders. There were only two tables in the restaurant during this time. I had waited 45 minutes for one roll I had to tell them I had to leave as I had an appointment to attend. Was still charged the full price of the dinner menu even though I never received my order! Definitely go to the other locations before going here as I have no complaints for those other locations!

they keep surprising me every time I come here, I usually order online and ask them to replace the avocado in the chicken teriyaki by cucumber, they never charge me extra, but when I eat in, they always argue that is an extra, replace and extra is too differant word and I am not willing to pay extra 1$ per roll so you replace avocado by cucumber, it is by principle, if service was fast, food excellent, I would maybe pay that extra, but the service went downhill since covid and asking more money for offering less is not the way to make business.

They food was on par for the most part, my onion rings were under cooked and gooey, the beef skewers were plain( no real flavor) the service however was not very good. It took them 25 minutes to come back and take our order after not even waiting to take everyones drink order, they forgot multiple items we had ordered. They took to long to come back and see if we wanted to order more and we had to re ask for dessert that were ordered. Overall I just won't be returning to this location again.

I went in to pick up my mobile order and the restaurant was extremely busy, so there was a longer wait than expected. Hectic as it was, the staff were so very kind and helpful the entire time. They were doing their absolute best to keep up with all the orders, and I really appreciated their patience and how polite they were with everyone. They handled it well, especially with a particular customer whom I noticed was rather impatient with the staff over the unfortunate extended wait time. The team dealt with this customer professionally and continued working to get everyone’s orders out.

I personally think they handled the rush as best they could. The food was delicious as always, and absolutely worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back again. :)

Used to love this restaurant but unfortunately this has been ruined. I went into an all you can eat with six people; something I've done many times. However we were served 3 sushi rolls (4 pieces each), cheese wontons, and some tempura. Then we ended up waiting an hour and a half with literally no attention at all , not even water refills. We of course decided to leave, and we told them that we would not pay for all six, but we would pay for 3. we were forced to pay for all six people, and now we have to go else where for dinner. Service was horrible, and the manager was even worse. Never eating at a Sun sushi again.

DON’T EVER COME HERE. You have to wait half an hour to order again for the all-you-can-eat. For the appetizers, you have to wait half an hour, and the limit is only two hours?! I HAVE TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR FOR THEM TO TAKE MY NEXT ORDER?! AND THE FOOD IS NOT EVEN THAT
