A great spot in downtown St Johns for great food in a relaxed setting.
Oysters and accompanying sauces were all excellent. A Chablis on the wine menu would be a good pairing option, even if only by the bottle.
Oh, and the cocktails are fantastic!!!

Look forward to visiting again when I get back to St Johns.

Downtown St John's has a ton of places that are perfect for sitting down and having a feast from the sea at affordable prices. The Adelaide Oyster House should be on the radar for anyone looking for such a time. The prices are per oyster or per dozen and the accompanying menu is also quite good. During the pedestrian mall in the summer, their patio is also a great spot to go to and one of the first on the street making it both convenient to get too and a great spot to people watch.

Excellent and eclectic menu. Service was very good and friendly. Be sure to make reservations as it is always busy.

A pleasant surprise & a treat to one’s palette. Variety of Asian fusion flavours bursting in the mouth, which makes it unique from the rest of the surrounding restaurants. Great quality & selection of Oysters & the spicy tuna sticky rice, kobe beef lettuce wrap & korean fried chicken is a must to try. The afternoon non alcoholic drinks are amazing as well to relax.
A fabulous team of bar tenders, waitresses always smiling, interactive & engage well.
Overall a pleasant experience twice in a row will bring us back for the third time in just 7days trip.
If you are around Water Street, St. Johns you must swing by & try the mouth watering delights.
Cheers to “The Adelaide Oyster House Team” keep up with your unique flavours & twists with huge smiles & laughter.

Oysters were fantastic. Lobster roll too. I would have loved a coffee after dinner but no decaf or herbal tea available.

Great atmosphere! Great menu! Food is awesome. Poor execution by wait staff. They could not handle the 7:30pm crowd.

Great offering of oysters from the Atlantic (PEI, NB and NL). Accompanying side dishes provided a contrasting crunchy texture to the oysters, but were perhaps too far on the crunchy side. Great atmosphere but a bit tight. Overall would recommend the experience!

Our first time trying oysters. The server and the gentleman from the kitchen were amazingly helpful in explaining what to expect, how they are prepared and served, all the different options and varieties, and how to enjoy the experience the most. This was both when we first arrived, when we were deciding what to order, and when they were delivered to the table. The oysters were delicious, as were our main courses. It's a small open restaurant, so it did tend to get louder as it filled up. The staff and the food were incredible. Our visit was the beginning of a great evening. Cheers!

Service and food was good. Music volume way too high. Will try another restaurant, but might come back.
